Sony originally said that it would be a launch title for PS4, meaning it would be out when the PS4 came out, meaning it should've had a release date for Winter 2013. Honestly, I've only heard stuff about it being a launch window, and since the article you linked to is almost a month old now it shouldn't be a surprise to anyone at this point.
