Xoleon 23 Posted July 3, 2013 Well, Now that Kingdom Hearts 3 has been anounced. I think that a good speculation is in order. This is what i believe will happen/will have in KH3: Lets start with the obvious. Riku will free Aqua and Ansem the Wise from the Realm of Darkness, but Sora is the only one who can free Ventus since Sora carries his heart. Once Ventus is freed, Roxas will no longer look or speak like Ventus. He will now look and speak like Sora. You won't fight Xehanort. You'll instead fight Terra-Xehanort. That's how Terra will be freed. Maybe you can fight Xehort's ghost or something as a bonus. Now my personal predictions. There will probably be a Jungle Book world. Sora and Kairi will kiss. I mean...cmon. They gotta by now. A new love interest for Riku? Yes. It's not Xion or anyine familiar. It will be a new original character...one who's personality will be nice and friendly (maybe like Shiki's from TWEWY but NOT Shiki) and can bring out the "light" in Riku's heart. Yen Sid will fight! Imagine, at the final battle...when all hope is lost Yen Sid flashes in through a portal holding a badass keyblade. The former master will now take arms and fight alongside the heroes. New powers for Kairi. After all, she is still a Princess of Light. Maybe she will have awesome light based combos with her keyblade...which lead to... More playable charcters. I'm sure during the story of KH3 you will get to play as Sora, Kairi, and Riku. What do you guys think? What are some theories of your own?

venxas24 544 Posted July 3, 2013 I don't see them introducing a new main character for Riku because it might be a little late to introduce someone new.I also don't think Yen Sid will fight with a keyblade at least. He's retired. 1 Dracozombie reacted to this

Dracozombie 4,554 Posted July 3, 2013 New character introduced for the sole purpose of giving a love interest to Riku? Nope, nope, nope. KH focuses on friendship and the bonds between hearts in general. You don't need a brand new love interest to bring out the light in Riku's heart, because Sora and Mickey (and theoretically Kairi if she spent more than one scene interacting with him) already do that. I'm wholeheartedly against introducing characters just for the sake of romance. Why does he even need a love interest?
Columned-Munny 274 Posted July 3, 2013 Hmmm. Here goes nothing: -The opening level/world will be Destiny Islands, involving a lot of nostalgia between Riku, Sora, and Kairi. We finally see Sora's mom! For old time's sake Riku and Sora have a race, this time Riku purposefully trips and let's Sora win. Sora shares a paopu with Kairi, all of them knowing that these peaceful times won't last. The next day, Heartless start appearing. As an act of demoralization Xehanort strikes on Destiny Island, repeating the destruction of the world from KH1. -You can choose to play as Sora, Kairi, and Riku, but they're all part of the same party. This is done for plot cohesion and to cut down on the repetitious playthroughs needed to get the complete story, like in BBS. -In the end Xehanort succeeds. His vessels are formed and he claims the X-Blade, in doing so claiming Kingdom Hearts. As the world's fall into darkness and Sora and company are engulfed, Sora begins to lose hope. He remembers his friends, all the people and places he's met, all the beings he's had in his heart, and then he starts to see an intangible connection between them. All hearts have light, and their light is comprised of the same sources; their memories, their emotions, their connection to those they care about. These connections all converge around Sora, who has spent his life making these threads stronger, linking all the lights. In the World's darkest hour, Sora becomes the opposite of Xehanort: not one who spreads his darkness to others, but one who becomes the avatar of other's light. A living Kingdom Hearts. With this power Sora is able to expel Xehanort, he who has never connected his light to others, and restore the worlds lost throughout the game. However, in recreating Kingdom Hearts, Sora must sacrifice his body and fades, happy knowing that Riku and Kairi and all the others will be safe. The game closes with a scene of Terra, Aqua, Ven, Lea, Xion, Roxas, Riku, Kairi, Donald, Goofy, and Mickey standing on Destiny Island besides the Paopu Tree watching the sunset. It's plainly evident that Sora isn't there, and they're all wistful. Something falls from the tree; a paopu. Riku picks it up and hands it to Kairi. Kairi looks at the fruit then smiles, looking with hope at the horizon. 4 mosokisa, Shulk, starlol9 and 1 other reacted to this

The beginnig is wonderful and the end so sad and touching, just T.T Thanks guys, much appreciated! I actually wonder if they'll add a family member or someone for Riku, since he's the only one of the three that hasn't had a familial connection. Not that this series is about that or anything, it was just a thought that'd occurred to me.
Dave 5,715 Posted July 3, 2013 I want Maleficent to be there to down at least one of Xehanort's versions. She's a badass, and needs her time in the spotlight back. Also, it would be the perfect revenge for Xehanort's shenanigans. Not to mention that she would have no moral scruples about killing a guy, so the heroes can keep their hands clean. Also, on that note, it would be cool if the Disney Villain bloc got back together to use their powers to take out the new Organization. For their own convenience, of course, but my enemy's enemy... 1 Zola reacted to this
