SoraBlade 832 Posted July 2, 2013 On Pokemon Black 2...I has yet to defeat Elesa. I know what you're thinking... But I can't grind because the battles hardly give me exp. though I'm under-leveled from Elesa... After a while, I came back. Like...I tried it 10 minutes ago. Had 2/6 pokemon left. It was up to Darumakka! He was level 28. My Liepard was level 23. I took down Elesa's level 30. Zebstrika using Liepard. Her Flaaffy and Emolga bugged me off. Liepard was knocked out, thanks to Flaaffy...Flaaffy used the *EXCUSE PLEASE* God banish it to hell Volt Switch! Daru had half health left. I knocked Flaaffy out using Fire Punch...twice. It healed. Then Emolga kept spamming VOLT SWITCH! I was down to five health. I healed using my Super Potion. (This battle meant EVERYTHING to me to finally beat it) I was DESPERATE! I used Fire Fang and brought it down to half health. I was down to three health. I used my HYPER potion. (Again, I was desperate and this battle meant everything to me) I was full! Emolga used the GBITHVS and then I cried... I had ONE FIRETRUCKING HP LEFT! My heart was pounding. I used fire fang, and...it dodged. It used Volt Switch...again. I lost... On a serious note...I'm honestly struggling. Even Ground Types aren't helping.
OthersiderME 614 Posted July 2, 2013 (edited) But I can't grind because the battles hardly give me exp. though I'm under-leveled from Elesa... i don't know if the double battle grass is still there in B2+W2, but that has stronger wild pokemon and it gives more experience. regardless, the best solution is level grinding, even if it takes some time. Also, for Grinding, those pink things that pop out of rustling grass help.
Shana09 5,769 Posted July 2, 2013 Walk around the non-grassy places around the tall grass to wait for a shaking tall grass. Then step into the shaking tall grass and it'll summon Audino, the one who gives you so much EXP. You'll get enough to beat Elesa. Elesa was so easy imho in both White and White 2. My brother always had a problem with her too because of her Emolga's. Ground types help, get a Sandile to level 32 and it will probably help. At least have all your Pokémon at level 30. 1 SoraBlade reacted to this

They don't appear in the area i can battle...I don'tthink....
Guest Posted July 2, 2013 Audino...I know. They don't appear in the area i can battle...I don'tthink.... Well, there is always backtracking a little, you can train on the way, and then grind on them.

He gives off a lot of experience ponits. Edited July 2, 2013 by ShadowRoxas
SoraBlade 832 Posted July 2, 2013 Sandile are literally all over the desert...how the hell is she giving you trouble??? They're TOO UNDERLEVELED TO GET EXPERIENCE, THANK YOU! My pair of Sandiles suck so bad, they hardly get any experience...it sucks...even IF I take the time.

Hell, train in the sewers or the Relic Path, there's easy to beat Grimers and such down there. Edited July 2, 2013 by Ultima Spark
SoraBlade 832 Posted July 2, 2013 Switching, although annoying and slow, fixes this. I use that Tactic. That's how you train Magikarp...Put it first in the team, then switching to a stronger pokemon...it gets exp. still. *sigh* What levels are they...nothing's forcing you to stay on the Castelia/Nimbasa landmass. Ultima Spark 753 Posted July 2, 2013 Train in the routes to the west and east of Nimbasa. Liepards are pretty common and give good experience for that point of the game.

SoraBlade 832 Posted July 3, 2013 Sandile are literally all over the desert...how the hell is she giving you trouble??? Plus...there's Emolga, who resists ALL ground types...A bit of a flaw with that.
Ultima Spark 753 Posted July 3, 2013 (edited) Plus...there's Emolga, who resists ALL ground types...A bit of a flaw with that. Then use Crunch (or some other STAB move)! Seriously, at this point of the game you should be more concerned with resisting/taking lower damage from an opponent's moves than ZOMG HOW I HIT FOR DUBZ?!?. Get something with Intimidate, there, it can't do crap for damage thanks to the attack cut. Edited July 3, 2013 by Ultima Spark

Guest Posted July 4, 2013 Bounce is a good move to use, and if you can use an electric type they are immune to Static, so you could do that.
