Am I the only one wondering about this?

Will we be getting a new theme song for Kingdom Hearts 3? I recall in an interview that Utada Hikaru doesn't plan to do one because she felt she didn't recieve enough money for it. If this is the case, should someone else do a new theme song; or would you prefer the continued use of Sanctuary / Simple and clean?

If they're really lazy they'll probably do Sanctuary AGAIN, which I don't want since I think a new numbered title deserves a new game song (typo).  

 

I think personally if Utada Hikaru won't do it, they should just go with a new person who sounds like her.  Can't really say "well they should pay her more" 'cause life just doesn't work like that, it's a shame she won't.

Clearly Kh3 won't get a new game, it's actually just fractured pieces of the uber secret endings in all the other games put together and it'll just be a movie showcasing them all in case there's some people who don't manage to unlock those super difficult and secret secret endings

If Utada doesn't make a new song for KH3 she loses every last BIT of my respect. It would mean that she's just a money hungry useless garbage bitch who doesn't give a shit about her fanbase. She should do it for US because she's already rich as HELL.

I really don't think that she will write a new song for KH3, though she may always surprise us. Though if she does write a new song for KH3, Simple and Clean and Sanctuary should still be somewhere in the game, since they already are a iconic part of the Xehanort Saga, atleast Simple and Clean. Though even if we are still far away to be thinking of this, but she should atleast write a new song, for the next KH saga. Since Simple and Clean, and Sanctuary already are the iconic songs of the Xehanort Saga.A new artist really shouldn't really be chosen for the KH3 theme song. Utada's songs are already something iconic for the Xehanort Saga. If they changed her for the next saga, I really wouldn't care, since it is a new adventure that will begin. Though the song should be writen specifically for the song. I am still trying to decipher, the theme song of FFXIII, My Hands, and I am pretty sure it doesn't have a connection with the story, like past FF games, like FFX with Suteki Da Ne, and FFX-2 with 1000 Words.

Its very likely that there will be a new song, but whether Utada will sing it is unknown. If she doesn't do it they always could have someone else sing the new song, and honsetly, I'm getting a little tired of Simple and clean and Sactuary as the main songs, I think its been a little overused.

I would like a new song that will affect me the same way sanctuary did. The first time I ever played the game I fell in love with the song, and I felt it was very appropriate for kingdom hearts. If they want to reuse it that's fine with me, or if they record a new one I hope it is just as good

Just thinking on the spot, but what if a male vocal stepped up for the theme song?  I love Utada Hikaru and her vocals, but if she isn't really willing to do it then why not change it up. It'd definitely feel like a new "journey" has begun.
