sexuality and gender confusion

Recommended Posts

Honestly, it's impossible to label yourself or anyone else as one set and definitive "category" of person, no matter what that is, especially something as complicated as one's sexuality and gender.

Here's my advice, you are whatever you are. If you can't find a term that exactly fits you and/or what you want then don't bother. You are who you are, that is something that is 100% true and 100% definitive. You are not an object to be labeled and organized in a warehouse or something,

Gender identification can be tricky if you pinpoint your gender based upon the cultural norms of each gender. There are cases where people feel they are both and it is perfectly fine to be that way, but remember that it can be a phase of exploration or it can be apart of who you are always. This is important to keep in mind because as you explore your sexuality and grow as a person keep in mind that not everything is constant. So, if one day you like guys and the next girls or both or none that is fine, but if you feel that you are continually confused for a long period I suggest seeking somebody, such as a psychologist  or therapist that can help you understand who you are.

In terms of anatomy, I attracted to people who appear to be stereotypically cismale or cisfemale. I know I am not 100% heterosexual. It's just with gender norms expanding, not to mention sexual, aesthetic and romantic preferences constantly changing, it's hard to know what defines you because nothing is set in stone.
