If we see Sephiroth again. Remember in his departure in KH2 was him and Cloud literally teleporting into the fourth dimension or what have you. Sephiroth could put his hair into a bun, which would make him look even more terrifying, but it solves the hood issue.

Yeah... but he's not integral to the story of Kingdom Hearts. He only serves as a side quest. I think it would be better just to leave him as is. Not to shoot down your ideas, but it would be better to leave FFVIII as it is, instead of trying to blend the two together anymore.

Seeing this picture he also has the recusant's sigil on his chest, but since he is a final fantasy character I don't think he will do anything in the main story such as becoming a vessel for Master Xehanort.

 

I think Nomura borrowed ideas for Xehanort from Sephiroth and made a brand new character. They have the same hair color, similar facial features, lacks golden eyes though, similar coats, recusant's sigil...

But Kingdom Hearts is suppose to be Disney and FF crossover. It would be great if Sephiroth turned out to be one of the vessels.

I think he'd be a great vessel, but I feel the fact that he's been a secret boss twice (so we expect him), was difficult (a lot of people still haven't beaten him) and is so dark (his character theme is the most menacing in the series) that Nomura would see him as too obvious, like the more clearly acceptable answer that'd be surprising is to have Minnie Mouse as a darkness instead.
