hfhfd74 13 Posted June 24, 2013 Even though I haven't played KH3D yet, I think it's pretty safe to say that Days is (by far) my favorite KH game. You get to see what goes on with the "enemy" for once. It gives you a chance to relate with the antagonist. For this game, the bad guy is the good guy. I think that's also why Death Note was such a great anime for me. But in the end, both of them had intentions to help everyone. The organization wasn't really that bad. They just wanted their hearts. Just like with Light, he wanted to rid the world of evil. I may not know everything since I haven't played DDD, but I know enough to know that it wasn't purely evil intentions. Demyx. 10,064 Posted June 24, 2013 Kingdom Hearts 2. Then Birth by Sleep. Then Dream Drop Distance. I hate Days. It's horrible.
Skai 3,961 Posted June 24, 2013 (edited) Even though I haven't played KH3D yet, I think it's pretty safe to say that Days is (by far) my favorite KH game. Just like with Light, he wanted to rid the world of evil. I may not know everything since I haven't played DDD, but I know enough to know that it wasn't purely evil intentions. Except your wrong. Xemnas had purely evil intentions and he used Organization XIII to make sure Xehanort's plan would come to fruition. It's kind of sad really. Most of them were led to believe they were gathering hearts so they too can have what they once had, a heart. But the truth was, Xehanort wanted to find 13 vessels, empty bodies, that were strong enough to hold his heart. He wanted to create 13 Xehanorts, and that was the true objective of Organization 13. Most of them weren't evil to begin with and only some truly ended up siding with him. They aren't really antagonists persay, except when they fight Sora and Riku in the event of CoM and KH2. They had an objective of their own. Favorite Story: 358/2 DaysFavorite Gameplay: KH2 BbS and DDD gameplay and stories were also good altogether, but they just don't come to par with the other two in their respective specialties. SSGoten 59 Posted June 24, 2013 (edited) I always get sad when the Organization are blamed as the bad guys. I always say they're misunderstood. They just want to be whole. They didn't want to rule the world. I don't understand why they tried to kill Sora, when they need him to free the hearts, especially with Riku, Roxas, and Xion not there anymore. But, they just want to be real people; sombodies. Their theme song gets me sad whenever I hear it. They're portrayed the wrong way. I feel like no one understands them. I hardly consider them bad" or "evil". Of course, they do bad things, but it's to achieve their goal, which is separate from Xehanort's. EDIT: Forgot to add the KHII is my favourite game (ever), if anyone cares. I am, however, currently playing the KHII Final Mix+ English Patch, so that might take the cake for favourite game ever, because of the subtle additions/changes (ex: palette swaps) , and the not-so-subtle additions/changes (ex: Lingering Will, the crowns). Sora96 17,256 Posted June 24, 2013 Was the worst in my opinion... I loved it at the time....
UltimateStriker 30 Posted June 24, 2013 kingdom hearts 2 was the best for me, birth by sleep innovated the battle system with an emotional attaching story, and then dream drop distance dropped a crazy bomb drop of story in the end. 358/2 days had the potential to be one of the best because the story is s good but the ds can't really handle. That's why i'm happy about the movie re-release.
FightTheDarkness 85 Posted June 25, 2013 I think you guys are being a little bit hard on this game. It definitely provided a lot of connections from BBS to the present especially with the looking for the Chamber of Waking where Ven is. It shows that the Organization had reason to distrust Xemnas and looked for a way to find out what he is hiding. I'm not going to say this is my favorite game because it wasn't but it wasn't as bad as you guys are saying it was in my opinion. But it's noting compared to KH2 and BBS and DDD. Ultima Weapon 71 Posted June 25, 2013 My favorite is the first KH >w< I like the simple but interesting story, the other games are great, but with an unnecessary intricate story.
VeNate13 144 Posted July 17, 2013 My favorite is KH2 but I do like 358/2 days a lot too. It's probably my 4th favorite kingdom hearts game.
PrinceNoctis 1,011 Posted July 20, 2013 BBS... I never played it but it looks awesome. Amazing worlds and beautiful story. I also heard the gameplay was the best in the series.
