Kingdom Hearts 3 Discussion Thread.

Hey there everyone, how's it going?  Well, as the title indicates, this is the official Kingdom Hearts 3 Discussion Thread made by me!  (If there's already an official discussion thread for this, then please forgive me mods!)  As we all know, we are very hyped and excited that Kingdom Hearts 3 has finally been announced, as there are also some people that are a little skeptical, so I've decided that here is where everyone can express their thoughts on Square's next big game.  So then, to start things off, I want to discuss something that's been on my mind for a while.

 

Okay, so as we all know, The Seven Guardians Of Light and The Thirteen Darknesses are meant to clash in a battle that will forge the X-blade.  We know that Terra, Aqua and Ventus need to be saved, but the question remains, how will all this come about?  In my personal opinion, I think that Aqua will be the first one to be saved, as perhaps Riku, having found his way out of the Realm of Darkness before, rescues Aqua. (I know that it's supposed to be Sora, but remember that in the game description Nomura gave, Sora, Donald and Goofy are searching for the Key to Unlock Hearts, while Riku and King Mickey search for PAST Keyblade wielders, so that's why I'm with this theory.)  After saving Aqua, I'm guessing that she heads over to Castle Oblivion, Riku probably warns her about the castle and it's effect on erasing memories, but since Aqua is the only one who can solve the mystery of the castle, she says it's all right, and she heads to the room where Ventus is sleeping.  There she finds Ventus, they go to Sora, and assuming Sora has the Key to unlock hearts, he releases Ventus's heart from him, causing Ventus to awaken from his comatose state, and I'm guessing that nearing the half of the game, Sora and the gang defeat Terranort, causing Terra to finally be freed from Xehanort's hold, and then whatever happens, happens.  Well anyways, that's my theory on how they will be saved.  

 

Another thing that I want to talk about is concerning combat.  Nomura said that he wants Kingdom Hearts 3 to be an evolution of what we've seen from Kingdom Hearts 2, so I can only guess that big surprises await us, and since he said that there will be a demo that has very flashy action, I'm certainly prepared to be surprised with whatever Nomura has in store.  I hope the Drive Gauge comes back, because I loved that feature to death in Kingdom Hearts 2, and since this is the conclusion of the Xehanort Saga, let's see if there are a few new forms sprinkled in there for good measure.  And also, from what we saw in the trailer, where Sora was riding that wave of Shadow Heartless(I know it's actually a video of how gameply will look but not actual gameplay.), if you noticed, you can see that Sora surfs on them, and I'm guessing that's probably a dash of Flowmotion, since Nomura said that in KH3D Flowmotion would represent how combat would more or less be on KH3.  I also think that since the PS4 has immense capabilities, I'm pretty sure that AI will be increased significantly, providing quite the thrill in battle when it comes to taking out legions of Heartless.  And one last thing, I know that some of you don't really much like the Osaka Team, but hey, cut the guys some slack.  I believe that they are an excellent team, as I think that Birth By Sleep and Dream Drop Distance are great games.  I know that after work is officially done on Final Fantasy XV, Nomura and the original KH team will put all their work into KH3 to deliver the ultimate gaming masterpiece.

 

Okay, that's all for now from me.  I know, I talk too much don't I?  LOL, I'm sorry but I can't help it, I'm very talkative.  Anyways everyone, as I said before, feel free to vent your thoughts on Kingdom Hearts 3 right here in this thread.

I'm really hoping for KH2.5 to come out before KH3 so that the Osaka Team can familiarize themselves with some of the aspects of that game that fans absolutely loved and would like to see in KH3. To be honest I'm still a bit nervous about them taking over the console games of the series.

(LITERALLY) same here. A couple years ago I was sent to the hospital with them telling me it was a complete and utter miracle that I lived because of an allergic reaction to a chemical...They were certain I was going to die...If I would have, no KH 3. T_T

It's amazing how a video game series such as Kingdom Hearts can change lives dramatically.  Who would have thought that this game series would form such an important part of our lives?  This video game series holds sentimental value to me, especially when it comes to Riku.  He's one of the most compelling characters in Kingdom Hearts, and his path to redemption really touched me.  It helped me to realize that you can always overcome yourself as long as your determined.
