The one made in BBS was also a "true" one, as there exists no fake X-blade, it was just not a perfect one but one with only two of the twenty pieces, making it extremely unstable. So even if Ven had not resisted and Vanitas would have been able to complete the blade on the out- and inside, it would still have been extremely unstable. These pieces hide themselves in the hearts of chosen people, so to "find" them you have to bring the persons together. Ventus already has(is) one of the seven light pieces just like Vanitas has (is) one of the dark pieces.

The 7 PoH are the 7 light fragments and it was never said where the original 13 darkness fragments went . Xehanort plans to use 13 'manufactured' darknesses against the PoH to forge the X-blade but also can use the 7 GoL that are chosen to protect them to also forge the X-blade if needed making this clash inevitable and therefore 'destiny'.

Some Nomuralogic could probably easily explain it, like "you can't die twice..." like if it was Lea for instance. or something. I dunno. xDAnd they don't have to be lights specifically yet, just someone who we think could be one and who you'd want it to be if they did die. Like I was saying for Roxas.

That implies that MX's plan is to cluster 20 people together, just like Ven/Van, all into one body...I don't think even MX is capable of that kind of planning.

Right. I knew about the PoH fragments but what I meant was that they need all 20 people (pieces of the blade) to create a stable one. Must have worded it weird.

Well what I meant by that is simply the clash of the two groups together to form the blade. He did say that he only needed them to fight to forge the blade, right?

BBS' X-Blade was a result of fusion, not just clashing. Otherwise, the entire climatic fight should have created an X-Blade by then.

Np, my fault : P

Did Xehanort explain how this fight would forge the blade yet? If the clash doesn't do it, and he doesn't fuse them together somehow to do it either, I don't see any other way.

Maybe all that's necessary is that all necessary 20 keyblade wielders clash. Just because BBS' method had results doesn't mean there doesn't exist a shortcut method. Hell, Xemnas' KH was a shortcut method to a KH. He (almost) got results, but they would have paled in comparison to the real deal.

Yeah, I can't wait to find out. ._.

That is what I think, but it would make sense. His motto, or whatever, is to protect the thing that matters. When he was asked what are the things that matter he said his friends. So he would protect his friends by sacrificing himself. I do hate the idea, but it makes sense. IMO Riku is the most interesting character in the whole series. This also may prove to be good in the long run too because it would possibly push Nomura away from this era of the KH universe for future saga's. I really hope Nomura does not stick with Sora and the gang after this game, future KH games should be in a whole to generation, but same universe.

I see your point, but that would be like a big "F YOU" to each countries respective voice actors for Riku. They've been in it so long, so it's only fair for them to stick with the series to the end, just like Haley gets to. Maybe they can kill him off in the final game though so it'd work out for everyone. Edited by <King Mickey>

You have a point. I never really though of it like that  :P . It also probably wouldn't be a good business decision either.

I pick Riku. KH needs to bring back the feels. KH1 & KH2 have both almost made me cry. I suppose 358/2 Days was sad, but I didn't know Xion long enough to care about her. ANYWAY, I love(ed) Riku, and I'm sure almost every other fan out there does too, so it would really hit us hard if a huge character like himself were to die. This is a WAR, and it would be pretty rediculous to have all the good guys walk away without at least one loss, plus they are outnumbered. It's called casualties of war, and someone needs to go. I'll honestly be kinda mad if all 7 do walk away without a scratch. In the very least, make it look like they die, and it turn out to be they were just turned into a hertless/nobody....or pull a Goofy from KH2, that was sad, even though it was obvious he couldn't be dead. Someone needs to go, and I pick Riku, for the sake of the feels. lol.

That and he doesn't even have a Nobody yet so it'd be a great way to introduce one, and still keep David at the same time.

But we don't even know who the lights are yet. So how would we know who we would want to die?

Also, it's Kingdom Hearts. It's possible for people not to die.

lol yeah i'm just sitting here thinking the exact same thing

lol how could you people want Riku to die??? I mean sure it would make a lot of controversy and stuff but come on! Riku has been through so much, he deserves a happy ending (no not like that pervs lol)
