Kairi and Lea are two characters we haven't really been able to play as (in the main storyline) that I think would be fun to have as playable characters.  But, more importantly, I want them to stop deglecting Kairi's character and give her some long due character development.

 

And I guess Riku would be cool but we have had him playable in 2 (3 if you can't KH2) games already.

Eh why not? It would be pretty interesting to play as Riku and Kairi (we've played as pretty much everyone except her) but in a format like BbS. Sora and Riku kinda have separate journeys as far as we know now so playing as different characters would be pretty fun. However, it would be just as fun having them as party members as well....for me at least ^^

Ummm...DUH!!! I loved, loved, LOVED playing as RIku in KH3D and if I ever got the chance to play as him again instead of just half the game like KH3D or a very small part in the ending fight in 2. I would like the ability to play as both Sora and Riku and you decide when you play as either one. If you prefer Sora then you can play as him and if you prefer Riku then you can play as him or switch between basically like 3D except you have no time limit/gauge. Riku is my favorite character and whenever I get the chance to play him I will take it. Kairi would be a really nice bonus too

I do, but I don't want it to be too much of them and not enough Sora. He hasn't had a major game focused on him since 2 and i think he deserves some spotlight. I wouldnt mind playing as Riku and Kairi for the final battle between the lights and darknesses or somesmall spots throughout the game so long as Sora is still the main focus

To be honest I could do without Riku, I wouldn't mind playing as him or not, but if they were choosing between them I'd want Kairi since we've never got to play as her before.  I really want to play as Kairi, and see a range of princess/heart/light attacks for her like for example, Destiny's Crown, Princess' Light.  I'd actually like her to sort of level up/gain new abilities/"forms"(or whatever mechanic is introduced)/summons as she meets other princesses of light, and they like, combine their power with her.

Here's what I want; I want Goofy and Donald to be replaced by Riku and Kairi, or at least switchable. When they're in your party you can take direct control of them, effectively rotating who you're controlling.

 

I'm unsure about KHIII being a split narrative like DDD or BBS. I think, just think mind you, I want the console games to focus solely on one party's adventure the same way KH and KHII did. Having Kairi and Riku in your party in any fashion is an attractive proposition to me. These are three best friends who've been on separate journeys thus far. It might be interesting and cathartic to see them all travelling together, to have Sora introduce them to his old friends. Kairi could meet some of her fellow princesses, Riku might be able to settle some things he's done in the past (abducting Jasmine for instance). With 13 Darknesses running around, it might not be a bad idea to have the 7 Lights team up to face them.
