Tails 6,692 Posted June 18, 2013 (edited) So since now that there's going to be a sequel to the infamous Legend of Zelda: ALTTP do you think we'll get a remake of Majora's Mask now? I remember Nintendo stating that they would consider making a remake of the game after they are done making their next brand new Zelda game for the 3DS. I really hope they make it considering it's one of the darkest Zelda games Nintendo has created and is almost better than OoT. Dave 5,715 Posted June 18, 2013 So since now that there's going to be a sequel to the infamous Legend of Zelda: ALTTP I don't think that's the word you're looking for. And I would be very down with a Majora's Mask remix. I imagine it wouldn't be necessarily as long to make, as most of the character models are already present in the remix of Ocarina of Time. Columned-Munny 274 Posted June 18, 2013 I'm surprised they haven't announced it already.
Roxas Illini 49 Posted June 18, 2013 I think it will happen, but it better have several extras in it. 1. A Master Quest mode. 2. Quick Save anytime 3. More background about Majora's Mask. 4. Lose Tingle. 5. Improve Goron rolling. It takes me a long time to do anything that involves Goron rolling, especially the mountain moon mini-dungeon. That is the true nightmare in the game. Firaga 5,947 Posted June 18, 2013 How come these remakes aren't coming to the Wii U? I don't get Nintendo.
SoraBlade 832 Posted June 18, 2013 Hope so. MUAHAHAHAHA! I can't wait for BEN and the MOON! in 3 HA HA HA D!
Oishii 3,987 Posted June 18, 2013 It's really the only Zelda game I want to play. I hope it gets a remake. It would make a LOT of fans happy.
Isaix 924 Posted June 18, 2013 If Nintendo remake Majora Mask they MUST fix the save system, because it was terrible and unless they add extra content in the game like dungeons or side quests,I wouldn't buy it to be honest because I played this game to death and I have no problem at all with the N64 graphics. But I'm all for a Majora Mask remake now, because this game deserve more love, its a very underated game in the Zelda fanchise, people fear the 3 days time limit for some reason, but they don't seem to understand that this is the very reason that make this game unique and epic. 2 Roxas Illini and LordOfTheCastle reacted to this
Caity 3,946 Posted June 18, 2013 Want want want. I'm hoping that leak on that European site before E3 turns out to be true and they announce it in a year like they did with Donkey Kong 3D

Well ALLTP is considered the greatest 2D Zelda game ever made by a lot of fans. So that's why I said it was infamous. How come these remakes aren't coming to the Wii U? I don't get Nintendo. Well the Wii U is getting a Wind Waker remake. Edited June 18, 2013 by Tails
LordOfTheCastle 92 Posted June 18, 2013 Like other people have said, they have GOT to fix the saving.I know it's supposed to add pressure and blah blah blah...But when your game freezes right before twinmold, and (obviously) your last save was before you started the dungeon.... yeah, no. I'll put up with that once, but I won't do it again. The save system's totally unnecessary. Video games are for fun, dont force people to play for 5 hours at a time or risk losing their progress. Shazzam 142 Posted June 19, 2013 I would definitely love a remake of Majora's Mask been a while since I've played/beat it.

Once they get Zelda: a Link between Worlds (LTTP sequel) out of the way they'll made a Majora's mask 3D remake. The demand is so obvious to ignore
AirbagVII 386 Posted June 19, 2013 (edited) That's exactly what I think! First, A Link between Worlds (so that they can please everyone who's asking for a REAL 3DS Zelda game) and then Majora's Mask 3D remake/remaster. Firaga 5,947 Posted June 19, 2013 Well the Wii U is getting a Wind Waker remake. Okay, but still. Majora's Mask is a console game. Why isn't it being remade on a console?

Yeah, but infamous means that you're famous for something negative.

Roxas Illini 49 Posted June 19, 2013 Why remove Tingle this was his official debut to the Zelda series. Yeah, and that is the biggest negative that many NA fans of the game have against it. We cannot stand Tingle!!!
Tails 6,692 Posted June 19, 2013 Yeah, and that is the biggest negative that many NA fans of the game have against it. We cannot stand Tingle!!! Why does everyone hate Tingle?

Roxas Illini 49 Posted June 19, 2013 Then don't buy maps. They are very useful though. Why does everyone hate Tingle? Mainly from the Wind Waker Triforce quest. You have to find the map, and then pay Tingle a whopping 398 Ruppees in order to read it. Plus his catchphrase is very annoying.
twilight_roxas 326 Posted June 19, 2013 Despite everyone hates Tingle he should still stay in the remake of Majora's Mask since he is already going to be in the HD remake of Windwaker.
Isaix 924 Posted June 20, 2013 Why would they remove Tingle,he's funny and he's an intersting character and the Zelda games lack intersting characters such as his. They are very useful though. Mainly from the Wind Waker Triforce quest. You have to find the map, and then pay Tingle a whopping 398 Ruppees in order to read it. Plus his catchphrase is very annoying. His catchphrase is pretty cool actually
