They better not actually make Sora mature and turn him into Riku.
Demyx. 10,064 Posted June 18, 2013 (edited) Probably just means older. Riku isn't even mature. He's angsty. Edited June 18, 2013 by Megaman X 1 Reyn reacted to this
Shulk 8,623 Posted June 18, 2013 I think that by mature, he meant older and more experienced with the Keyblade. Not personality wise.
Silvia Kuroi 1,480 Posted June 18, 2013 I hope they just mean an older Sora. Sora's always been that immature teen who was silly when he needed to be. They better not take that away. 1 Reyn reacted to this
Reyn 1,755 Posted June 18, 2013 Probably just means older. Riku isn't even mature. He's angsty. I doubt it. I mean, look at SORA IN DDD. He's more laidback then in the previous games. And KH3 obviously takes place directly after KH3D, since Xehanorts not going to wait a couple months to enact his plan to forge the X-Blade, so that doesn't give Sora any time to actually age significantly. I think that by mature, he meant older and more experienced with the Keyblade. Not personality wise. I don't think it means older. I doubt Sora's personality would change that quickly, either. They know that that's one of the things he's most famous for.
WakelessDream 2,279 Posted June 18, 2013 I always took "mature Sora" as meaning Sora in his KH2 form, as opposed to the original KH younger Sora we've seen in recent titles. I'm sure in KH3 he'll still be the silly Sora we've all come to know and love. 1 Sora96 reacted to this

Reyn 1,755 Posted June 18, 2013 He's still not mature. How was he more laid back? o.O Compared to KH2, he was more laid back and more of an idiot hero in DDD, because the Mark of Mastery was supposed to just be an exam, that wasn't supposed to be dangerous, so he didn't take it seriously. It was how the new Org. took him by surprise and managed to kidnap him. Shana09 5,769 Posted June 18, 2013 What did you expect the kid's personality to be like after being abducted by a Xehanort and to have a Xehanort inside him to be part Xehanort, and then surviving knowing that he is going to fight in an upcoming war against Darkness and the 13 Xehanorts. I don't think he would be prancing around like a 2 year old.

Dracozombie 4,554 Posted June 18, 2013 You can be more experienced and worldly without losing the core aspect of your personality. Sora is plenty serious--he understands his friends and the heart and how much he needs to do to help everyone. He gets his act together when facing down baddies; it's his outlook on life that's cheerful and laidback. A mature Sora can be cheerful and laidback and apply that mindset in a mature way. Being serious or not constantly happy is not the same as being angsty, guys. I'm sick of people thinking "OMG he's not a happy parakeet HE'S EMOOOO!!1" because yeah how dare someone have problems and express them. Emo git, grow a pair. 3 Reyn, Dave and mosokisa reacted to this

NO_HEART_XIII 312 Posted June 18, 2013 (edited) Well this is some serious stuff, so Sora better get his act together a little bit. Xehanort doesn't mess around, y'know? Riku was my favorite character in the KH1 & CoM days, but I'm finding it harder and harder to like him with each new installment, so I hope they don't ruin the Sora we love like they did to Riku. Ptolema 404 Posted June 18, 2013 I think a ''mature Sora'' would be mature in a Keyblade-wise sense. He's been just beating villains around without much training, so I suppose it means he's ready and prepared enough to take on threats of an even higher level, like Xehanort and the Seekers of Darkness.
