If Nomura lets us play as multiple characters in KH3...

...How would you want it to work in game? Would you want it like BBS, where you play as them in multiple stories? Would want it so that, during certain parts of the game, you switch to them to show what they did in the time gap while you were playing as another character(like lets say Sora, Donald and Goofy go to a couple worlds, you switch to Riku and Mickey and play as them to see what they did while Sora and his friends went to those worlds, and then at the end the stories of the characters intertwine as they go to the same place). When i say this, I DO NOT IMPLY THAT THIS COULD BE THE DROP SYSTEM. That wouldn't work with more than 2 characters, because it'd get pretty confusing. Or would you want it that you can choose what characters you want in a 3 person party and who you want the character you directly play as to be(Like in a Final Fantasy game).

 

I'd want it to be that there are multiple stories and you can customize what characters you want in a single party whenever the story of what character you play as intertwines with another characters story.

I want it to be sort of like kingdom hearts 3d's system except instead of having a drop gauge you get to a certain event and then you play has a different character until you reach another event and then you'd switch characters again.

I want something like Kingdom Hearts 2 where you could play as Roxas,Riku and Mickey only at rare moments in the game and Sora is the main playable character,he the one you level up,he equips different keyblades and no one else and he's the only one to do the extra stuff after you beat the game.

The game needs to focus on Sora. Sequences where you play as Kairi/Riku/Mickey/Aqua would be good but, above all else, I want the cohesion of the story to be intact. Switching between characters too much would be poor for the story but changing to control Aqua to, say, escape the Realm of Darkness would be cool. Or to show parts of Kairi's training etc.Having said that, I think they should also have more post-game content, such as the ability to play through the game as Riku or Kairi with different move sets. When it doesn't affect the first playthrough I don't really care if it doesn't make sense.... Also, they should make DLC.

I don't think that the drop gauge would be valid in the non-sleeping world, but maybe some kind of variation of it, where you don't run out of time, and get to choose when you drop or something I dunno, to be honest I hope Sora is the only playable character just so they have to focus more on his personal fighting mechanics.

I'd like it if you changed the playable character in different plot points. I think it would be good for the story too, because it might be hard to tell everything important if you only followed Sora all the time, this way they could consentrate on different characters at different times and give them all as much attention as they deserve. It would also be cool to be able to change the character you play as in the party but that's not necessary.

 

That's what I'd want but I don't see it actually happening. I'd quess we're going to play mostly as Sora and at some special times as someone else, or we can change the character we play as but play with a party where Sora is included. Maybe the other party members could change during the game (well, at least I'd like that). But I think I'm going to be happy anyway if we're going to be able to play as multiply characters no matter how they do it.

Well she never got called into action until 3D, which is why. They were probably saving her for 3.
