About these Disney worlds....

Recommended Posts

I have a theory. So, in the very first interview about this game, Nomura announced that it will feature Sora, Donald, and Goofy looking for seven guardians of light. In previous adventures, Sora was looking for Riku or Kairi or the King and had REASON to go off into random worlds like The Pride Lands or Atlantica or The Land of Dragons, etc. etc. Now, he is looking specifically for 7 guardians of light. Why would he go to any of those worlds looking for one of the seven guardians of light? Spoiler Alert: Simba's not a guardian of light.

So, here's my theory (however, it's completely speculation). I say that every single world in Kingdom Hearts III is going to be new with the exception of important worlds from previous journeys (E.g. Twilight Town, The World that Never Was, The Keyblade Graveyard, and possibly Traverse Town and others). I'm not saying those will be the only worlds in the game because that would be a pretty short game. I'm saying that I think that this time every world will have a purpose and in order for them to have a purpose, they will have to all be new, at least to Sora's gang (meaning that BBS worlds are fair game).

But, anyways that's just my theory on the matter. P.S. If the most likely scenario happens and we play as both Sora and Riku again then Riku is totally fair game for visiting old worlds because he is looking for the past keyblade weilders who, to his better knowledge, may happen to be in a random Disney world.

If my memory serves correctly, Nomura mentioned that Sora and his gang while looking for Guardians of Light, they were also looking for a Keyblade that could open hearts or something like that(maybe to extract Ventus's heart from Sora?). The only keyblade/keyblades that have been seen to open/close/remove/extract/insert/whatever hearts is the Keyblade of People Hearts(unless I am remembering incorrectly, some time since I have played a Kh game, aside from KH3D), if that is the case, then we will probably see the worlds of the Seven Princesses of Heart, since that keyblade was formed by the hearts of the princesses. Though even if they don't do that, we will still probably see some of the Princesses of Heart's worlds. Since Mickey and Yen Sid both know that if they don't reunite the seven guardians, Xehanort will still target the Seven Princesses, so they will probably secure the Princesses, to protect them from Xehanort.

I agree that we will see the Keyblade Graveyard. If we can use the KH3D opening as any evidence, they are battling there against Xehanort. Though that opening shows Roxas fighting too, and Kairi is absent, even if Yen Sid was going to train her at the end of KH3D. Though Roxas may be attributed that when Sora returns Ventus his heart, he may recreate Roxas since he would need to extract or make some strange magic with his heart. While Kairi may had been to not spoil the ending.

Also agree with you with the important worlds.

I think we may also seem some new worlds, where Sora will train for the final battle and to become a titled Keyblade Master, unless Nomura decides to throw us another game before we received KH3, or he is throwing to the battle without being a Keyblade Master. Right the only world that will help with that, that comes to my mind is a Star Wars world. May be Sora will go there for some training, with Yoda or something. Flowmotion seems to make a return, may be if the world appear, there can be some Flowmotion upgrade, by training or something with Yoda.

I really hope Halloween Town makes a reappearance, though. With PS4 graphics, they'd be able to make it actually look like real claymation. That would be EPIC.

But, would you rather graphics or storyline? :P

Storyline, but I LOVE Halloween Town, and that can technically count as story too, because that place has a really good story as well. Jack Skellington is beast. That world would simply be awesome to explore. I'm sure they could squeeze it in, the PS4 discs have like 50 gigs of storage, so they could probably add every single world ever visited, on top of a vast amount of new ones.

Wait :O i'm confused! how will they find the seven guardians of light?

You've gotta wait and see, don't you? :P

I think Land Of Dragons could make a reappearance.

On what grounds? Like why would they go there?

Their was a vcr sequel that they made which I think could be made into a world it would look great on the PS4. Lots of people loved the first visit of Land Of Dragons.

Lots of people loved the first visit of Land Of Dragons.

But your missing my question. I loved going to The Land of Dragons but why would they be compelled to go there as far as the story goes? Why would they be looking for one of the seven guardians of light in there?

My guess is it has nothing to do with the Disney Worlds its all about locking them I guess. Seven Guardians? You mean like the 7 princesses of heart?

Remember in KH1 they went to worlds where people weren't even the 7 princesses of heart. I think it was little mermaid.

I seriously love this analysis, it's really in-depth, but only one thing I have to object on the matter. Nomura said that KH3D would be the last spin off game, connecting to KH3 directly, so I doubt that there will be another spin off. I personally think that this will be how it goes: 2013: KH 1.5 HD Remix 2014: KH 2.5 HD Remix 2015: Kingdom Hearts 3And as for the possibility of a Star Wars world, even though I love Star Wars to death, I really think it would be best to stick with the more Disney-ish worlds, since putting Star Wars there would break the Disney essence of the game. But then again, it could be a success. Only time will tell. (YODA IS THE BEST!)

The seven guardians of light are different from the seven PoH. The seven guardians of light are yet to be named but we can assume it consists of people such as Sora, Riku, and King Mickey. In KH1 they went to worlds where people weren't one of the 7 princesses of heart because, as I said, they were also looking for Riku, Kairi, and the King. So, it was very possible that they could've wound up in any of those worlds so they had to look. It later became their mission to lock each one of the keyholes but their original and first priority was always to find Riku, Kairi, and the king. That priority doesn't apply here.

:D. That is true, though Nomura may end up trolling us, and throw us a Spin-off because KH3 is not ready for 2015, and he give us a spin off to keep us occupied. I agree with the dates, releasing KH3 on 2015 is perfect, mainly because it is the 13th anniversary of the series. Let me explain why I say this.

The number 13 is a very important number in the Kingdom Hearts Xehanort Saga, here is some of the 13 allusions that have been present in the saga

1. Kingdom Hearts, has 13 letters.

2. At the beginning of KH1, the M comes closer to the screen than the other letters, M is the 13th letter in the alphabet.

3. Sora, Riku and Kairi, are 13 letters in total.

4. The same with Roxas, Axel, and Xion.

5. 13 Seekers of Darkness.

6. 13 floors and basements in Castle Oblivion.

7. Organization XIII

8. 13 Ansem Reports.

9. 13 Secret Ansem Reports

10. Those 13 fungis to get a crown upgrade in KH2FM

11. You originally need 13 orichalcums + for the Ultima Weapon in KH2

12. The sector you need to clear to get Ultima Weapon in RE:Coded have 13 floors.

13. KH1.5  will be release in September 13 in Europe.

Strangely, KH3 was revealed in E3 2013. So I really wouldn't be surprise if KH3 is released on the 13th anniversary of the series.

That is true. But didn't Nomura expressed the desire to have Star Wars in KH3?

I just think the worlds they visit will have no correlation too finding the 7 guardians...

Well there is always a purpose to going to a world in KH. Sora and company are heroes. They will go where ever they are needed to save others. As long as there is darkness in the worlds there will always be a purpose in visiting them. So there will be plenty of reason to visit worlds from the past games. Especially if the guardians turn out to be Disney characters. Also they need to look for that key.
