1.5 & 2.5 ReMix available to play in PS4 eventually? but how?

Recommended Posts

I was wondering how do you think it will work for people that has a hard copy of the ps3 disc and want to play KH 1.5 and 2.5 on their PS4?  will we have to buy a digital copy (Licence) of it even tho we bought the original copies for the ps3? or do you think that we would only need to insert the disc to be able to play it but it would be played from the cloud? (Similar to installing the game on the console but needing the hard disc to play it like in the xbox360) The thing is, I already pre ordered my KH 1.5 and I dont even own a PS3 LOL so I'm just gonna wait for the PS4 to come out and starts streaming PS3 games to play on the PS4.Any thoughts on that?

yeah but I mean will I have to pay "twice"??? if I have to I probably will e.e

Unfortunately, I think you are going to have to pay twice. Unless by some miricle Sony actually puts the customer before money, which is unlikely...There's no backwards compatibility, which I think is utter BULLshit, so it won't be able to read the disc. I'd think they would have mentioned something like this if it were possible. It pisses me off so much that I'm going to have to keep my PS3 instead of trading it in for a chunk off the price of the PS4. :/

Paying the price of the game twice does not sound great I understand but since there is no backwards compatibility which means we can't use our PS3 discs to work on PS4 directly. But we know this Gaikai cloud based system which can play PS3 games via streaming but other than that its a bit unclear about how this system will exactly work but we'll see.

I hope they can atleast discount the game (or maybe even give it for free but highly doubt it) if we have already purchased the game.
