ONLINE Capabilities?!

This news is even better than I could imagine. I wonder what they could possibly do to make it work? Sort of like a Mirage Arena world with Keyblade armor maybe? (WITH CAPES THIS TIME)

 

Although I'd rather you be able to choose any original/Disney KH character you want, (that has a Keyblade or weapon) and have it randomly pick other people who chose a different character than you to battle against so there aren't multiple people using the same one. This way everyone can use their favorite character any time they want, with a huge selection to choose from. There will be so many people using this function that I think that this could possibly work as well. It would pretty much work as a "waiting room" like most online games have.

Okay, here's how i'd like it go. This is a tad bit far sketched in some areas though, so bear with me.

 

Create your own character. (Just so we don't have ten Sora's running around in one battle) Have it be set back in the period of "The Keyblade War"... (Or not, but at least completely unrelated to the current story, which actually would probably be better for what i'm about to say)

 

Customize your Keyblade, giving it different abilities and visual aspects that you unlock as you level up, or progress. Perhaps even choose a role (Magic, strength, ect) although I wouldn't want it to get too deep in all that, and it's a delicate subject with KH.

 

Team based battles, lights versus darknesses. (You choose a faction, light or dark, each gets unique abilities that aren't "Overpowered" to each other to keep it relatively even) A lot can go into these battles, i'll let you all use your imaginations.

Whichever team collects the most hearts, (Well, not collect as in running around picking up hearts, but as you defeat an opponent of the opposite faction you gain a "Heart" for your team) wins.

 

Different "Maps" of various Disney worlds, KH unique worlds, and (possibly) other Square Enix related worlds (Final Fantasy, TWEWY) with the possibility of each team being able to call on a unique-to-that-world character. (Example: Hercules in Olympus coliseum for lights, Hades for darks)

 

I could go on and on about this, but it has already taken up a lot of room.

I think maybe an open world online exploration system like an mmo would be cool, they tried it with kh phone but it failed, would be 1000X more awesome as an rpg on ps4,

 

also like you said a mirage arena system but what if you didnt use armour instead use customised characters from your mmo world as your characters in the arena

i think that would be epic, also maybe more detailed arena and versus maps.

I'd like a simple create your own warrior option, like same default face, but you choose between skin tones, eye colour, hair style, hair colour, make them short, medium or tall and then choose your colour armor so everyone doesn't look the same in it.

 

I hope for something like the mirage arena, but I actually wanted it to be a section of Olympus Coliseum, like you talk to someone for the matches and trophies there, and there's someone on the other side of them that you talk to to "engage the public" or something

It would be awesome but I was reading a while ago that Disney is very strict when it comes to the image of their characters fighting each other, so if it happens is up to disney, I mean the organization is cool and all but they're only 13, with the disney characters we would have a huge selection! Amazing.Also it would be cool to be able to join campaings to help friends, for example lets say that I already finish my campaign but my friend is stuck with some boss or area, It would be cool to be able to join his game as Donal or Goofy OR even Aqua, Terra, Ventus, Kairi, Riku or Lea (depending on what can you use at the momment) and help him to kill the boss or pass the area, and obviously trophies to helpers

I am definately expecting a Co-Op the versus I doubt it, hopefully disney let them use the characters for this.

Only problem is that if a person is playing as Donald or Goofy, they'd have a limited moveset.. Unless they get a lot of new attacks in KH3.

I would love to see an online feature that is like Dissidia, just fighting. Dissidia was supposed to be a KH fighting game, but Disney didn't want their characters in a fighting game or something like that. I wouldn't mind something like Birth by Sleep had though.

How about after KH3, they do a MMORPG based off the Keyblade War? FOR PC, X1, and PS4! Just think about it, they could put in command decks for the lil 123456789 bar you always got and KH2 like combos. You choose your side, apperance (with crazy amounts of customization), and base keyblade look. However, with the keyblade, you can tweak it and add and delete stuff but also have it evolve in look as your alignment goes which ever way. The story would have to be completely original, hopefully voiced acted, and with beautiful worlds.

But in all seriousness, I think their should be different multiplayer modes:

Co-op

Factions

Deathmatch 

Etc.

 

I think you should get a completely new character, be able to name it, but just have the armor with the cape (like Birth by Sleep). Having *too* much customization might just ruin the purpose. They should have the lobbies, servers, and everything. (Private room with password for KH13 members? ) We're probably just overreacting though D:

Yup. I completely forgot to mention Co-op. If KH 3 proves to be difficult, which it definitely will be, (shit, the PS4 technology will take bosses to an entirely new level...) and if you don't feel like endlessly grinding levels to be able to beat them, it would be amazing if you could say for instance, hop on the forums and ask someone to help you beat a boss or two. I'm seriously looking forward to see what the feature is going to be.

1) A 7 lights vs 13 Darkness battle. The 7 lights would be more powerful so as to avoid an unfair advantage. The match would just be an epic fight between all the characters, each character having their own strength and weaknesses

 

2)Drop-In/Drop-Out Co-op. A friend could drop in as a party member in your campaign. If I'm playing as Sora, a friend could drop in as Donald or hopefully one of the 7 lights.

 

These ideas probably won't happen but i would absolutely love Square-Enix if they put this in.
