So, now that we know Sora will stumble upon Eraqus' keyblade in KH3, who do you think he's going to rescue first? Personally, I think he'll use the keyblade to unlock Castle Oblivion and rescue Ventus. I know Eraqus said that only Aqua could do it, but how symbolic would that be if Sora was the one to awaken Ventus from his sleep? Sora fixed Ventus' heart in BBS, Ventus protected Sora's body in 3D, and now Sora is finally coming to meet him in person. Do you guys think Sora will return Castle Oblivion back to the land of Departure? How do you think Eraqus' keyblade ended up on Destiny Islands? What do you think happened to Aqua? Let me know your thoughts and ideas.

We don't actually know that he will stumble upon that keyblade.

They are looking for the guardians of light. That doesn't mean Roax and Xion are the guardians. Unless you are talking about the "key".

"Key to return hearts" I think thats what they will use to return Ventus heart inside sora.

 

Riku and Mickey... I think they will go find Aqua, since they were in the RoD before...After that and after sora finds that "key" i think they will go to CO with aqua, since she is the only one that knows where is ventus.

 

And I think aqua manage a way to send Eraqus Keyblade, like a signal for them.

I feel that there could be so much content in this game that they could divide it up into two different stories like in CoM and 3D, but then again, they did say KH3 would focus on Sora (however, they also said they wanted to put KH3 on PS3, and look how that ended).

I think that's something that they just threw together. I wouldn't count on that actually happening in the game, but we'll see

I meant the "searching for the Key to return Hearts" ... The Guardians of Light are the Princess I think, so there's the reason why Sora will revisit old Worlds. I just hope Olympus Coliseum is with them, even if it doesn't have a Princess.

How would riku and mickey restore ventus In the first place they don't have his heart. Even if aqua was to unlock the room of awakening and find ven she still couldn't wake him sora has possession of ventus heart. So unless sora stabs himself again like he did for kari in KH1 he probably needs the key to return hearts to free ventus heart and return it to his comatose body back at castle oblivion or in yen sids tower if aqua brings his body back.

Actually while the Princesses of Heart can be used in the formula for the X-Blade, they are not classified as Guardians of Light. The Guardians of Light are the Seven wielders presented by the universe to protect the princesses. The Princesses are the seven maidens whose pure hearts are devoid of darkness and whose destruction would break down the protective barriers that prevent the worlds from being overrun by darkness. Literally no one knows but her what that Keyblade can even do. Yen Sid might know, but just the Keyblade alone wouldn't do anything. He actually needs to know where and how to find Ven in the castle. This is where Aqua comes in.

Yeah... Makes totally sense now ...I still think the Princesses are meant with "Guardians of Light" in the press release ~ But we'll see what happens.

I like the idea that Aqua sent the Master Keeper as a signal. I think that Riku and Mickey will save Aqua, Aqua will help them save Ventus, and Terra will be a Darkness. Nothing against Terra, but thats just what it seems like.

Wasn't that scene with Sora picking up the master keeper just a placeholder showing the new kingdom shader? It may or may not have to do with the story, that is yet to be seen

Aqua is the only one that can instantly turn Castle Oblivion back into Land of Departure and retrieve Ventus' body without a hint of effort, yes. Since this is will be a videogame. Sora, Donald and Goofy needing to enter the castle, fight monsters and solve the puzzle the hard way, with the Master Key seems more likely to me. He's also the one bearing Ventus' heart and he's not yet a Keyblade Master. He needs the trail of unlocking Ventus the most. Aqua I expect will be taking back her home completely later when Ventus is awake and at their side. Not just some kids to whom it holds no greater significance.

 

Also, Ansem the Wise and Aqua will probably return together likely with Micker/Riku/Kairi/Lea's help. Which'll be a good time for Ansem's data to become revelant. Given that Ventus is the only one that doesn't need that stuff, I expect his immeadiate problem to be solved first and for them to find that Roxas/Sora ain't doing so well without Ventus' heart.
