Celas was thinking about why Vanitas and his Master were watching her "development" until she payed more attention to Elenar."No, he is not Sora's evil twin. I have a theory of the reason he looks like Sora but that would have to be a story for another day."She came to a sudden stop, looking at the end of one particular hallway."Look...We found it!" she yelled after noticing a single door at the end of the hallway. "That's what we were looking for, that's the Chamber of Waking"Once she was in front of the door, Celas tried to open it but was unable to."How weird...I wonder" she said while taking a few steps back, pointing her Keyblade at the door. "This have to work" a beam of darkness shot from the Keyblade into the door, making a keyhole appear, then a faint sound like a lock opening was heard.Celas stood close to the door when it suddenly opened alone, slowly, she made her way into the room. The room was small, with Keyblade Master Sigils on the walls and a chain design running on the floor, in the center was what looked like a throne.Celas made her way in front of it and smiled at the sight that was in front of her eyes."I found you at last...Ventus"

Sitting on the throne was the boy who resembled Roxas, he had a peaceful look on his face and a simple yet calm smile on his lips.

"Do not worry" Celas said while ruffling his hair gently. "You will wake up and then we will go and get Aqua back from the Realm of Darkness"

"Cheater!" Lacuna called to the robed man's disembodied voice, looking up and around.She then looked at Master Thomas, her smile back on her face."Isn't this where the good guys are getting together to fight baddies?" She asked.Riku narrowed his eyes at the girl, not sure about her."And you want to help fight darkness?" He asked.Lacuna giggled."Nope, just the guys who are using it badly. Lots of them around, though."Ienzo half listened to the conversation with Lacuna as he considered Luna's request."If you want to return to Castle Oblivion to find Ventus, there are already those on that trail." He said to her. "It might be better if you started on the hunt for Aqua."He fell silent for a moment as a new thought occurred to him."And...I might be able to give you a lead."Lea came over, ruffling Xion's hair as he past, and gave Ienzo a questioning look."What are you taking about?" He asked. "You know where she is?""No, but Xemnas might have. I think he was talking with her."

Luna could only nod at Ienzo's new information. "Ok, we'll go after Aqua then." She eyed over to Lacuna, unsure what to think of her as she returned her attention. "if... if we have to deal with Xemnas" she looked over to Zion and Xion, "we can take him on if he decides not to cooperate, right?"

Xion scowled. "No. We destroy him and everything he stands for. He won't cooperate; he must be stopped."

 

Zion looked uncomfortable, laying a hand on Xion's shoulder.

Elenar had been watching behind her and Celas as the Keyblade Wielder had unlocked the door. She didn't want that black haired creep turning up again. After she saw Celas go inside the new door out of the corner of her eyes, the Savage Nymph gave the hallways one more visual sweep, then followed Celas in. She stopped short when she turned to see what looked to her like Roxas sitting in a large chair in the center of the room, though Celas called him Ventus.

"Seriously, doesn't anyone look different anymore?" She exclaimed. "You know what, never mind. Just grab him and let's get our of here. We talking him back to Ienzo?"

 

Ienzo raised a calming hand to Xion.

"Dealing directly with Xemnas would not only be fruitless, but also costly." He said. "No, if I'm right, what we need is here in the castle."

A puzzled look on Lea's face made way for one of comprehension.

"Your talking about down in the lab." He said. "Xemnas's secret room."

Ienzo nodded.

"Correct. I believe that is where the things found with Xehanort when he was found by Master Ansem are storied there. Judging from what you have told me of Xehanort's past, they just might be Aqua's."

The Cloaked Schemer beckoned to Luna, Zion and Xion.

"Follow me." He said, then headed for the main computer console.

Before she could go, Lea placed a light hand on Xion's shoulder.

"You doing alright?" He asked, concern in his voice.

 

Riku and Sora exchanged looks after Lacuna's explanation. Both of the Keyblade Wielders were not sure what to make of this new comer.

"Thank you for your assistance, but you'd better move along." Dilan said, cutting into there thoughts.

Sora turned and glared at his old enemy.

"Hey, who are you to-" he started to say, but Riku placed a hand on his shoulder.

"He's right, Sora." The new Keyblade Master said. "There is still a lot to do before we are ready for facing Xehanort and his Organization. We'd better pack up and get going."

Sora looked sour for a moment, then nodded. Both Keyblade wielders turned to leave.

"Coming, Lea?" Sora called.

Dilan turned to the Princesses of Heart there.

"Alright, we will get you back to your worlds, though you may be needed again before this is all over."

 

Lacuna's grinned widened slightly as she regarded Master Thomas closely.

"So, what about you?" She asked. "I hear you have a vacancy in your apprentice spot. Come here looking for a replacement?"

 

Away from the group, Lumiara watched intently at Sora. The little squirt was still the same as ever. How had he gotten the Keyblade?

Master Thomas opens up a Corridor of Light leading to the Realm of Darkness. He looks around at the people who are to hunt Aqua down. He is making sure that everyone is getting ready for the journey through the endless Darkness. He then speaks to the people who are hunting down Aqua by saying. "This portal leads to where she may be, but be careful, one mistake, you may be trapped forever.... Good luck, and be sure to not die and bring Aqua back..." Said Master Thomas, wishing the people good luck. Master Thomas looks at Lacuna sternly and speaks to her by saying. "I happen to have gotten a new apprentice today, Aero told me to take "Him" in after he himself had died... I won't tell you his name, but I can tell you that he has a great Destiny ahead of him.." Said Master Thomas, telling Lacuna something about Tyler.

Sitting atop the fireplace in a home somewhere in Radiant Garden was a glass dome with an ornately decorated wooden base. The man and his wife carefully inspected the inside of the empty trinket, hoping for a sign that the old wizard was right about doing its job. Sure enough, a heart was seen floating and spinning inside the trinket, and the man smiled as he let off a chuckle. His wife seemed confused for a bit. "So, what does this mean dear?"

 

"It means it did its job, honey. Looks like he was right after all."

"So... what was it supposed to do?"

"Capture his decaying heart's dust, collect, and piece it back together. That way, there's a chance he can come back. Yen Sid did warn us that he was able to weaponize his own heart to protect the princess. But... Doing that normally destroys it." 

The wife smiled as she rested her head on his shoulders. "So... we're gonna see him again?"

"You bet" he whispered as he stared at the beautiful trinket, gently scratched his wife's head. "Besides, it's not right to break a girl's heart like that and leave. She doesn't deserve to be sad."

 

He chuckled a bit as he continued to talk to the trinket. "You should know better than that... Son."

 

 

Luna decided to follow Ienzo, completely oblivious to the direct corridor to the Realm of Darkness from Master Thomas. She was too distraught to concentrate properly, everything being nothing but a drone and a blur as she tried to recover from the shock, save for those who she actually decided to focus on. 

 

The other Guardians nodded at Dilan's warning. "Until then, let's get them back home." Selene replied. She eyed over to Kairi and her posse of friends. "I wonder if she knew about Nocturne." she whispered to the others. The others immediately looked at Kairi before nodding their heads no, then started back to their respective princesses as Stella keyed in her commlink, telling the others back at the castle to prepare their princesses for evac.

Celas remained silent for a couple of minutes before speaking once again."I was going to wake him up, but I guess it would be safer to take him to another location. Radiant Garden perhaps? At this moment I am sure the "Xatsuno" issue was dealt with."With a small wave of her hand, a dark portal opened behind Celas and Elenar."I think we should go...to Ansem's computer room. I am sure Ienzo will think about Xemnas' secret room. Once Ventus wakes up I think I will go to the Dark Meridian and look for Aqua, she must be there, at least that's what I think."Celas decided to piggy-back carry Ventus, and gave Elenar one last look."Are you ready? Be sure to be alert once we reach Radiant Garden, we can't be sure about the current status of the world."After her comment, Celas along with Ventus, walked into the dark portal leading to Radiant Garden and directly into Ansem's computer room.

Master Thomas is seen walking into the computer room with Ienzo and the others. He is wondering what the robed man meant about his cryptic message. He senses Celas' return, but goes on with Ienzo. He then speaks out loud by saying. "So, what is the password to that secret room? Also, I may have a clue to where Aqua is.." Said Master Thomas, talking about Aqua.

Xion nodded.

"Yeah...I'm ok." She told Lea.

 

Zion glaced at Luna, then slid behind her, wrapping her arms around Luna's wast. "Hey." She said softly. "You aren't alone."

And, to prove it, she kissed the back of Luna's neck. "You got friends who are here for you."

There, she saw Ienzo leading a group of people into the computer room."And of course, he looks like he was expecting us." She thought.Ienzo smiled at Celas and the unconscious Ven."Excellent work." He told Celas. "I'm a little surprised you were so quick."Elenar scoffed. "Even!" Ienzo called.Even appeared with a perturbed look."What?" He demanded."If you could get a stretcher for Ventus?" Ienzo asked. The Frozen Academic's eye brows raised as he took in Celas and Ventus, then bustled away."Now, to answer your question, Master Thomas, I could try to extrapolate Xemnas's password, but it will be easier to simply use my own. I can open up the lower labs we used to experiment on people's hearts. The room will be at the very bottom, at the end of a long hall."The Cloaked Schemer stepped over to the large keyboard and started typing in commands. The Princesses and guardians still at the machine were ushered away from it and the large room it was housed in by Tron's voice. Then, large mechanical arms picked up the machine and carried it off. Then, Ienzo entered a series of codes, and the floor where the machine had been opened, revealing a circling stair down."Follow the stairs to the bottom." He said, turning to Luna. "You will know the door when you see it. I can't open it, but there are plenty of Keyblades to get you in. I remember a suit of armor and some sort of sword brought in with Xehanort when he appeared here. If I'm right, that is what you will find there."Even bustled back in, carrying a stretcher. He set it up by Celas, and offered for her to place Ven on it. "Any trouble?" He asked her.Ienzo took in a breath and looked at Master Thomas. "Now, what is this lead you have?" He inquired.Lea gave Xion a worried look, but nodded. "Okay." He said. "But if you need anything, call me."He smiled."Maybe when this is all over, we can get some ice cream."Lacuna stood by herself, giggling softly to herself. This was more fun than she had dreamed it would be.

Master Thomas looks at Ienzo sternly. He folds his arms as he walks with him. He is about to tell him his lead. He then speaks to Ienzo by saying. "Since Aqua disappeared, and Xehanort was found with Aqua's stuff, we can all assume that Aqua fell into.... The Realm of Darkness..." Said Master Thomas, telling his lead to Ienzo.

Celas placed Ventus on the stretcher and looked at Even."Trouble? Well, if you're asking about Ventus then the answer is no, but if you're asking if we ran into troubles while searching for him" Celas had a completely calm face, not revealing any kind of emotion. "we did ran into a couple of troubles but I am sure you know at least about one of them, isn't that right Even?She was completely sure about the feeling she had while she was in Castle Oblivion, Even spying on her, or everyone who was in the castle at the time."But moving along, we had some "unexpected" help from someone who was interested in getting Ventus out of that place. My theory is that Master Xehanort sent help so the heroes could get their hands on another "Light" as fast as they could but that's just me."

 

Celas' gaze wandered towards Master Thomas then rested at Lacuna for a few seconds."A Keyblade Master? and who is that girl?" she thought to herself while staring at the mysterious girl.Once again Celas looked at Even before speaking."If I'm allowed to know, what is the reason everyone is so eager to "speak" with the thing that is in the deepest room of the lab? That armor is but an empty shell filled with the emotions of its owner." Celas then crossed her arms and sighed. "Aqua is in the Realm of Darkness, we don't need a piece of junk to tell us that. It would be like trying to talk with that other armor in the Keyblade Graveyard" she closed her eyes when she felt Sora's and his friends' presence. "Perhaps you could ask the Hero of Light about the response he got from it" she let out a small chuckle.

Near the heart-filled trinket that sat atop the fireplace was an armored pauldron, the faded dark blue mini-cape that was attached to it was tightly wrapped around it. Blowing and brushing the dust off that had collected on it, the man latched it onto his right shoulder, securing it with the old and battle-worn leather straps that were still attached to it. "I'd restore it with magic" the middle aged man told his wife, "but I kinda like the way it feels like this. Fits just right, like a glove that's been with you for so long." She smiled at him. "Lets go bring our son back."

 

 

Luna let off a troubled sigh as Zion wrapped her arms around her. "Hey. You aren't alone. You got friends who are here for you." She managed to turn around and hugged her back. "I know" she whispered, "but... i-it just doesn't feel the same..." 

 

"Follow the stairs to the bottom. You will know the door when you see it. I can't open it, but there are plenty of Keyblades to get you in. I remember a suit of armor and some sort of sword brought in with Xehanort when he appeared here. If I'm right, that is what you will find there."

 

Luna nodded, then promptly started heading towards the machine room where the other princesses were not too long ago.

"Yeah...I'd like that."

Then she finally spotted Sora. Taking a deep breath, she walked over to him.

"Sora. Nice to see you...again."

 

As Luna went off, Zion glanced back. Xion was with Lea and the others. She'd be fine.

Jogging up, she took Luna's hand. "I know it's not the same. But we're here for you."

Ienzo nodded to Master Thomas.

"That matches the theories we have been working on, but it is good to have some corroboration." He said. "With the items Xehanort appeared with, we should theoretically be able to track down Master Aqua."

Even gave Celas a questioning look.

"What are you implying?" He demanded. "How would I know about-Oh."

Even gave the smiling and waving Elenar a tired look.

"Caught up yet?" She asked, a little nastily.

"I was hoping not to have to deal with you again." The scientist commented.

He then returned his attention to Ven, using some sort of scanning device on the comatose Keyblade Wielder.

"Well, Celas, you are probably right that the armor, but it could still have some sort of connection with its former owner. That connection prove useful."

 

Sora turned to see Xion there with them. In pure Sora style, he gave her a hug.

"Xion!" He exclaimed. "Where have you been?"

Master Thomas reads Even's scans on Ventus' body while glancing at the body, and at Sora, making sure that the pieces are in place. He snaps a finger and a symbol appears on Ventus' chest. lighting up with Light. He looks at Sora, whose's chest also started baring the same symbol on his chest. He then speaks to Sora and the others by saying. "Don't panic, I simply used a spell called "Heart's Retrace", it can trace foreign Hearts in other people, and can trace back to that Heart's owner, Sora, you have Ventus' Heart inside of toy.. If you weren't informed, this symbol will serve as a portal to transfer his Heart back into his body.." Said Master Thomas, explaining the spell.

Even gave Celas a questioning look."What are you implying?" He demanded. "How would I know about-Oh."Even gave the smiling and waving Elenar a tired look."Caught up yet?" She asked, a little nastily."I was hoping not to have to deal with you again." He snaps a finger and a symbol appears on Ventus' chest. lighting up with Light. He looks at Sora, whose's chest also started baring the same symbol on his chest. He then speaks to Sora and the others by saying. Celas had a thoughtful look on her face."Well, theorically that would be possible, let's just hope ir doesn't attack the one who is going to talk with it. We don't want to lose another one of our disfuncional group"She said as she watched Even using some sort of scanning device on Ventus.Suddenly a symbol appeared on Ventus and Sora's chest, courtesy of Master Thomas, who then proceeded to explain the spell he used.Celas listened carefully at what Master Thomas said about his spell and thought about it for a moment."Wouldn't be easy if we just extracted Ventus's heart from Sora?" she asked in a calm, yet serious tone, one she used when assuming her role as a Keyblade Master. "We currently have a few Keyblade Masters available, not counting the newest addition to our ranks" Celas said while taking a look at Riku. "No offense, but I do not know the extent of your current abilities as a Keyblade Master."

As Luna made her way into the room with Aqua's armor, she carefully held the armor in her hands, quietly focusing on what little connection with it's owner it had left. The feeling was faint, but she was able to hone in and notice the connection as her hands started to glow. Several minutes passed before she returned to reality, carefully pacing the helmet down. "Ok, that should do it." she turned to notify Zion. "If I go into the realm of darkness, I can find her." She made her way back to Ienzo and noticed the unconscious Ventus. "So, can anyone take me to the Realm of darkness? I think I can get Aqua quickly."

Sorry about that... it's been a hectic 75 hours...

(Heh, you still have a better attendance record then me.)Riku smiled slightly and put a hand on Xion's shoulder."I'm just glad you were able to come back." He said.Sora was about to say something, but Master Thomas's glowing symbol suddenly glowing on his chest."What?" He exclaimed.After listening to Master Thomas and Celas speak, Even nodded."Often theorized such spells could be devised, tracking a heart by using its body, but never could get it right." He mused. Sora stared at Ventus, his hand over his heart."Oh, so stabbing Sora is good now?" Elenar asked. "Wish it had been when I tried it."Ienzo remained silent as he watched the scene. What ever he was thinking was interrupted by Luna's return."Ah, something was useful?" He asked. "Good. We should be able to get you to the Realm of Darkness. Master Thomas or Celas will be your best guides.""Or me." Lacuna said in rapid fire, suddenly popping up between Ienzo and Luna. "I know that dump like the back of my hand."

Master Thomas looks at Ienzo and speaks to him by saying. "Of course, I put some weavings into this spell.... This spell was created many years.. Now, for the next step.." Said Master Thomas, preparing to do the next part of the spell. Master Thomas summons his Keyblade in a puff of smoke, and it shines a small Light, and a Light covers Sora, it would release Ventus' Heart through the now shining symbol into Ventus' body through the same symbol. He then speaks out loud by saying. "Symbol of Light, please hear my cry, expel the foreign Light, and bring it back to it's original body.... Release Ventus' Heart into it's body and give it life once again!" Shouted Master Thomas, shouting out a chant. Suddenly, Light can be seen coming out of Sora's Chest, almost preparing to expel a Heart.

Riku smiled slightly and put a hand on Xion's shoulder."I'm just glad you were able to come back." He said.Sora was about to say something, but Master Thomas's glowing symbol suddenly glowing on his chest."What?" He exclaimed.After listening to Master Thomas and Celas speak, Even nodded."Often theorized such spells could be devised, tracking a heart by using its body, but never could get it right." He mused. "It was the last place I managed to feel Aqua's presence along with someone else."For a couple of seconds Celas watched Lacuna, wondering what her objective was."Well, if this girl wants to go with Luna, I guess I will go with them, besides...all the time I spent in the Realm of Light is taking its toll, I need to go back to the darkness."She crossed her arms and looked around, stopping her gaze on Riku more than the others."So, who else is going to come besides Luna and...uh...this girl" Celas asked everyone.

Clad in his battle worn and battle tested keyblade armor, the middle aged man along with his wife slowly and carefully exited their cozy home in Radiant Garden. The wife was hugging the heart filled trinket, trailing slightly behind her husband as they both made their way to the flower garden outside the town walls. As they reached the makeshift memorial for their recently dearly beloved son, the man held out his right hand and summoned his keyblade. It looked similar to his son's weapon, save for the noticeable owl emblem that separated the hilt of his weapon from the shaft. Looking around to see if the coast is clear, the man removed the helmet from the memorialized keyblade and gently lifted the bracelet that was placed on the hilt. He turned around, and placed the bracelet on the pavement as he channeled some of his magic to bring back the body that was stored inside. "Whoever that girl was, she did a good job with the ritual" he calmly remarked as Cody's body started to materialize from the bracelet. Spotting the faint outline of Cody's left arm inside the bracelet, the wife was awestruck at the display of magic as their son's body continued to come back into existence. After several minutes, Cody's empty body laid on the pavement as the man took a couple of steps back and held his keyblade at an odd angle. The wife knew what to do as she placed the heart-filled trinket next to the lifeless body and stood back. Exhaling slowly, the man started a slow, intricate dance of sorts, twirling his keyblade and spinning his body in a calm, calculated, almost well rehearsed way that dazzled his wife as she stood there wondering what he was doing. The heart inside the trinket started to glow along with Cody's body as the dance seemed to reach a crescendo of sorts, the glowing heart starting to disappear from the trinket as a link was formed from the trinket to the body. The man sliced the air in front of him in an X configuration before striking the ground, signifying the end of the well hidden ritual. They both kneeled beside Cody, the wife cradling him in her arms as she gently shook him. They heard a groan, and miraculously Cody opened his eyes. Slowly turning his head to see who his saviors were, he blinked a couple of times as his field of view slowly came into focus. "Who...." he barely whispered, "wha-....."

 

"Shh..." the wife gently whispered to him. "Take it easy. You're back."

The man casted curaga on him and accelerated his recovery. "You may not recognize us, but we know you... Nocturne."

"Who..... are you?" he whispered, now curious about who they are.

"It's been a while son." The man gently remarked, looking down and smiling at him.

"S...Son? So........ Mom? Dad?"

 

The wife couldn't contain her joy as she broke down and cried, kissing Cody's forehead. The man followed soon after, hugging him and sharing her joy as their long awaited family reunion was finally a reality. "Welcome home son."

 

 

Luna was feeling anxious about the idea of traveling into the Dark Meridian. She thanked Celas as the portal was opened, but hesitated a bit as she decided to wait to see if anyone else wanted to join. Lightly tapping her belt buckle, her keyblade armor materialized as she steeled herself before venturing into the unknown.

Sora floated up a bit as Ven's heart floated out of his chest. With it out, he collapsed on the floor. Riku and the newly arrived Kairi rushed to his side.

"Sora!" Kairi exclaimed.

Sora's eyes fluttered open.

"Hey." He said, sounding a little weak.

"How are you feeling?" Riku asked.

"Lighter."

Ven's heart hovered in the air, in the spell's hold. Even watched with full interest, his eyes gleaming at the sight of some new technique he could experiment with. Ienzo gave the proceedings a cursory look, but most of his attention was on Lacuna.

"And how do you know the dark realm so well?" He asked her.

"I was trapped there years ago, by Xehanort." She said as she studied the tips of her fingers. "I didn't meet his expectations."

Ienzo raised an eyebrow.

"How so?"

"Never can please a teacher like him." She said with a shrug.

Ienzo marked the thought that Lacuna was a former apprentice of Xehanort's as doubtful, but didn't have any direct reason to question her. But with Celas being the actual guide to the Dark Marridian made him feel a little easier.

"Well then, I would like to provide an additional escort for this mission, though..." He said, looking back at the enraptured Even and Dilan organizing the return of the princess to their worlds.

His eyes then settled on Elenar, who sighed.

"I guess you're expecting me to join your little club and save the worlds, huh?" The Savage Nymph asked sourly.

"It would be helpful." He admitted.

Elenar rolled her eyes.

"Fine, what ever, but once we're done finding this 'Aqua', I'm splitting for a sunning beach, got it?"

Ienzo smiled, wondering how much Celas's involvement with this opporation influenced Elenar's decision.
