I am still amazed they haven't added Dixie Kong as a character. Imagine being able to use all of those hair-whipping moves.

Most likely she would've been a Diddy clone but she'll use her hair instead of the tail and would have a different final smash

I think I wanna see one of the kongs from Donkey Kong 64 like Lanky,Tiny or Chunky Kong

Yeah. It's a bit weird, but honestly, when the game is this good, I really don't care.

just tell me do we know how many secret characters there are? Edited by Kodakliv

There are 11 secret characters in the game.

Wow! That is freaking awesome! I can't wait for the game!So I just got the demo from a good friend; Moochie and I'll give it a small review!Gameplay is smooth and it runs so beautifully! My god the game is awesome can't wait for October 3rd already!! So far I'm digging Megaman since I used to love Mega Man back in the day.The graphics are sharp and clean and it amazes me how good the 3DS graphics can get!Overall demo! 10/10 Edited by Kodakliv

If Stage Builder Returns...

More Themes

More Pieces

Mix Pieces and Themes

Pieces that allow to be angled

Properties of the Pieces (IE: Shrink, Icy)

Hazard Pieces (Spikes, cannons, things that blast you, bouncy things)

Background pieces

The Wii U can TOTALLY handle the Stage Editor. And if none of these appear, then...WHY?!

I'm sure stage editor will be only in the Wii U version alongside the Event Match mode..........but we need a confirmation for that through....y'know....a new Smash direct

Actually I figured what's wrong with the online ...........the problem is that unlike SF4,it doesn't show you the connection of your opponent, and if you picked an opponent with a very bad internet it's gonna lag

I asked Maximillon Dood and he said the same thing in his stream

I hope they at least update it with a connection bar that's shown on your opponent

The online is not bad at all it's just we have no indication of the connection when facing opponents

I'm so sorry for being whiney but are all of those battlefields shown in the demo it for the entire game? Or are there hidden ones?

There are a couple unlockable stages. The starting stages are definitely a nice selection, though. I'm excited to play on Gaur Plain, that one looks amazing.

So....I was reading through the tips last night on the demo:

Pokemon: Goldeen

If attacks were to hit with enthusiasm, then Goldeen would KO with Splash. But it isn't, not even when Goldeen comes from a Master Ball.

Goldeen still might come out of the Master Ball, I dunno the chances, but if a tip from the actual game confirms this then, we'll have to find out.

Anyone know if you can use the custom stuff in For Fun mode?

You can't use Custom stuff online unless you're playing with a friend. So yes and no.

Now that the game is out in Japan, the Conquest mode will be available in online multiplayer in the Japanese version. This is what the title screen will look like for the overseas version. In this mode, the game aggregates global wins among specific teams during a limited time and determines the victor. If you choose a participating fighter from the With Anyone option, you'll automatically participate in Conquest. We'll be running Conquest in beta for a while.
Also, Conquest data where players seem to be losing on purpose will be removed from the calculations. And lastly, there's no point in working on this mode too much on your own, so don't overdo it…

Some thoughts on the Demo:

Link's buffs make me really happy. I always liked the way he played but now I can legitimately main him without being classified a masochist.

Villager has an incredibly interesting playstyle. Things like his Down-B are just fascinating, and I'm really excited to see what becomes of him as the game develops.

Megaman is also very interesting with him being centered around projectiles. I don't know how high of a tier he'll place but I think he'll definitely be a favorite among the casual crowd. (which I am a part of)

Pikachu feels a lot smoother? I can operate his Up-B for the first time ever. In N64, Melee, and Brawl I could never consistently get the timing right on the up-B but now it's just like completely smooth and I love it. I might actually start using Pikachu now.

Mario is Mario. A bit buffed. I like that FLUDD got a makeover. Not much else to say.

The 3D effects are beautiful and not even remotely an eye strain. The graphics are very well put together and that 60 FPS is amazing. Music (what little of it there is in the demo) is pretty aces. I'm digging some of the new items I'm seeing. Galaga ship is a favorite. As well as the Beetle from Skyward Sword. Even though they both seem to be instant kill items lol. Maybe its just the computers though and you can actually escape their grasp.
