By the time this column has been published, the final Smash special presentation should have debuted, offering some new information. But, as of my writing this, nothing has been announced. Please watch it!

Around the same time, the new Star Wars film is going to premiere, something I’m also anxiously waiting for. I’m so excited! However, George Lucas is not directing it. He’s not even a producer. Lucasfilms, and the rights to the movies, were purchased in 2012 by Disney. This time, J.J. Abrams is directing. The reason for the buyout was “to protect Star Wars and Lucasfilms.”

Respecting this site's wishes, I only quoted the first two paragraphs, but it does shit in telling what this article is about. Basically, Sakurai leads into how there is a vocal minority that constantly complains about the negative aspects in a piece of media without weighing in the positives. It's a good read about how Sakurai thinks about recent complaints of the additions to the Smash roster.

It’s particularly easy to voice criticisms, and opinions are very strong. When people yell loudly, it also invites mob mentality and conformity. It’s easy for negative opinions to be amplified, while positive opinions are quieted. People don’t understand the circumstances and state of affairs behind development, and it’s not allowed for creators to make excuses. There are even people who feel emotionally battered and quit working.

This is something many of us have tried to point out, but it just didn't go through some thick skulls out there.

http://www.gamnesia.com/news/a-super-smash-bros.-glitch-lets-you-control-eight-characters-with-one-contr

^ Anyone else heard of this glitch? Let's you control 8 characters with one controller. I tried it myself, and it's pretty amusing. I made 8 Kirby's do a dance routine. Unfortunate that the only way to do it is if you have 8 amiibos, though.

For those interested, I'll copy paste the instructions below:

  • Have 8 amiibo.
  • Use a controller that can “desync” (a GameCube controller preferably).
  • Go to the 8-Player Smash mode.
  • Just move your joystick until the “Player #” or port space pops up.
  • Click the name part of your port until it says “None”.
  • Remove your controller from the port or desync it.
  • Scan your amiibo.
  • Plug everything back in.
  • Move your joystick again and now you will be the Player in the next available space after your scanned amiibo. Nothing out of the ordinary, but trust me, it’s working.
  • Repeat Steps 5-9 until all the Player spaces are filled with the 8 amiibo.
  • Go to the Settings (where Time or Stock and Item rules are). Then simply exit.
  • You should now have eight hand cursors to control. change all eight characters to player controlled by clicking the same are you did to change them to none in the previous steps.
  • If you bring all the hands to the very side of the screen, they will all overlap and you will be able to select all the same character. Can also get a little creative with how you manipulate the hands.

^Bolded parts were added by me for clarification.

Does anyone else feel like Bayonetta is just a really long spam chain attack?

Probably just because my main is slow and I suck at the game in general, but yeah.

Though it does make it more glorious when I win against her.  >:}

Well, it all depends on who's controlling her!  The first time I fought against her, apparently the player controlling her was insanely skilled, for I almost couldn't even land a single hit on Bayonetta!  She'd just wreck me with her infinite combos! D:

But when I fought against her with a different player, I found that I won the match!  So yeah, it depends on the player's skill level!  She could either be invincible, or just your average fighter, ya know? :3
