You get way too overworked about stuff. They're explaining rational reasons for Ridley's absence and you refuse to acknowledge a single one, then make yourself a victim by saying "Is it wrong for me to wonder why?" I've seen this in every debate I'd viewed where you participated. Just be open to sometimes stuff happening.

I'm not "overworked" about this and I am open to certain things happening. But, that doesn't mean I'm going to always agree with everything either. What you call "rational reasons", I call "Sakurai's OCD acting up". Its as simple as that. I'm not like any other person that posts on here, I actually want to criticize Sakurai because, frankly, while he is still a really good developer, he still f*cks up or is super uptight about how he runs things and should learn from his mistakes and stop limiting himself so he can improve. Not every idea is going to seem right at first, but hell, if you don't at least try, then you'll never know.

But yeah, maybe I was a little amped up for this particular argument when it was going down, I can admit that, but can you blame me? Whenever I post on this thread, nobody acknowledges what I have to say,  and some people, even though they don't say it but I can tell, just write me off as a babbling brook who doesn't know what's he talking about. Just because I have something critical to say. It's the same thing that happened on the RWBY thread.

And you know, I wouldn't be as "overworked" as you say I am if people treated my own opinions with respect instead of always telling me to chill out and just accept what everybody else is saying just because they're are more of them than me with a different mindset. Why doesn't anybody try and help me out once in a while either? Or at least give me the benefit of the doubt? No, I'm always the guy who's wrong, or the guy who needs to "calm down". How would you feel if you were put in my situation? It sucks, and I don't like putting up with it.

You don't have to agree with me, but at least understand where I'm coming from, because my reasons are just as valid as every other person's.

No no no, of course!

I don't know too much about Ridley, hence my neutral disposition towards his inclusion, but I can understand why some would want him. He was pretty cool in Brawl, albeit being the size of 10 Sonics, and I can see players wishing to emulate that. It is a respectable opinion.

In a way, though, Ridley's situation is more aligned to that of Master Hand (and now, Crazy Hand) since the developers see him more as a boss than an actual character.

Now, see, that's what I'm talking about.

Anyways: despite how I feel, I get the idea of keeping Ridley out of the picture due to the boss comparison you mentioned. Which is why I felt that Ridley, even though I think he should be playable, doesn't have to be in right this second for Smash 3DS/Wii U. Smash games come out every, what, five or six years now, so Sakurai has pretty much bucket loads of time to work on new stuff for another game. In that time frame, I'm sure that he can drum up a perfectly logical way (in his eyes that is) to make Ridley a playable character.

Well since you're not getting the game why are you concerned?Just asking y'know

IT's like if I'm concerned about why the Ten tailed beast isn't playable in the upcoming Naruto storm game when I might not get it

I'm concerned because a) this isn't about Smash 3DS/Wii U anymore and b) I care about the future of Smash Bros. and think that if Sakurai spends less timing overthinking things and being creative, he can continue to bust out great ideas and concepts for his series that he himself doesn't even realize yet.

So... how about that WiiU version? lolI'm having way more fun than with the 3DS one, but idk that's just me.

Well that's to be expected for the following reasons:

1A controller which is more comfortable to use especially the GameCube controller

2much more content than the 3DS version

3EIGHT PLAYER SMASH ^_^

Hopefully I'll manage to get my copy of the game soon.

Yeah. Hopefully it won't take you weeks to get your copy of Smash bros Wii U like what happened with Smash bros 3DS and Hyrule Warriors. Also o in other news everybody. I GOT MY COPY OF SMASH BROS WII U TODAY!!!!! WOOOOOO!!!!!! But I couldn't buy Pokemon AS/OR today either. So I'll be picking it up monday next week (so in 2days). But yeah, I got Smash U and I'm having a blast with it so far :D

The Wii U version is absolutely amazing so far. For the most part, I've only done Smash matches, but I will say I'm not a fan of Smash Tour. It's pretty broken, considering one person can end with one character, and someone else could get six or seven. :/ However, even with that, I can say that this is definitely the best Smash game released. I've been having a lot of fun with it, especially in Eight Player Smash!

Also, amiibo vs amiibo matches are hilariously bad when they're at low levels. My brother and I had our amiibo fight earlier today (I have Kirby, he has Samus). Both were level 9 at the start of the match, and they spent a lot of time attacking the air. xD

Well at level 9 the amiibos are basically LV 1 CPUs but once you make them reach level 50 it'll be a totally different story

Can't seem to get used to any of the newcomers yet. Although I am liking Greninja and Lucina. (Odd because she's almost the same as Marth; probably the sword.)

Princess Peach's turnips became nearly useless thanks to the nerf. On the other hand, her butt slam is at least useable. Otherwise feels the same as before.

I need to adjust to Lucario again because he's slightly faster than Brawl, which is so good. I don't like his FS that much, you still get hit. I'll get used to him again.

So far it's been fun. There's a lot to do such as practice.

Peach was awesome before the last 3DS patch too since when she was floating her aerials wouldn't be affected by stale move decay. She still good, tho, like overall she's pretty much about the same she's always been minus stuff like the buffs her up moves got and those nerfs.

It's gotta be the sword. Lucina's better to me because she has a better damage output than Marth. She seems faster too.

Yeah, for anyone who just likes to rush in and not worry about their positioning, Lucina's better for Damage Output overall. Marth's just more rewarding to those who are good at spacing out their attacks, like me (it's the only reason i use Marth as a main, otherwise it'd be Lucina). I manage to hit with the tip alot, which helps for racking up alot of damage and early KOs better than i ever could with Lucina.

Honestly, i can play a decent Lucina, but i can play a way better Marth. If it wasn't for the sweetspot, i probably wouldn't use Lucina or Marth, since their movesets are ok, but not really all that suited to my playstyle normally, i'd rather have a sort of gimmick/quality to go along with something like that to make it more rewarding for me to master a character. Fortunately, Marth's tip is perfect for that. : P
