DragonMaster 1,166 Posted December 27, 2014 Gyahh! There's just too many characters I wanna play as in this game! Lucina, Palutena, Robin, Lucario, Jigglypuff... It's just too hard to chose a main. X_X Aside from that, this is definitely my favorite of the Smash Bros. games. ^_^ I do wish I had been able to get a GameCube adapter before they disappeared, but it's not that hard to adapt. 1 Reyn reacted to this

hatok 6,413 Posted December 27, 2014 I like how Amiibos have been a huge success, and Nintendo's response is "Welp, better have the most limited supply possible!" 1 Reyn reacted to this

Hero of Winds 2,576 Posted December 27, 2014 That's just great. -__- Why is Nintendo being so stupid with Amiibo production, seriously? If they see how well they go in price after the initial release, they can reprint them and sell them for a larger sum. It's not poor marketing, but it's pretty shitty and doesn't seem like a Nintendo thing, but they could do it if they really wanted to. 1 Reyn reacted to this
Jilly Shears 2,144 Posted December 27, 2014 Of all characters I fought against Online and against the AI,Captain Falcon is the only one that gave me the most trouble. Most of the times I got my ass handed to me were by Captain Falcon players. Is it just me or did Captain Falcon got some serious buffs? His Falcon Kick is much more powerful He's buffed, but he really did need a buff considering how bad he was in Brawl. lolDiddy Kong gives me more trouble on online matches, though. Good DDD players are hard to overpower as well, but Diddy Kong is just a nightmare to fight against because of how well he combos along with being so damn fast. 2 Dio Brando and Reyn reacted to this
Kyouma-Blade 90 Posted December 27, 2014 I really have troubles with people with projectiles, specifically Link/Tink and Samus. As a Marth/Lucina main, I have no real way of dealing with them. Anyone know how to work around them? Also, if there really is no way to do it as Marth/Lucina, then who should I try to play as to counter them? It's not really easy with purely Physical characters like Marth/Lucina unless they're extremely fast and can close the gap between them and the opponent quickly, Shulk in Monado Artes being a good example. You might want rush down/fast chars. like Sonic, ZSS, Captain Falcon etc., or characters who can reflect projectiles/have ones of their own like Fox and Pit. 1 Kyouma-Blade reacted to this

Alright, I'll try out having Sonic as my secondary, because I'm bad at closing gaps.

I always find their projectiles easy to dodge and close the gap as Lucina. However, this is probably because Toon Link specifically is one of my mains, so I know the move set and how to counter them. I also do a lot of Dash + Counter as Lucina. 2 Reyn and Kyouma-Blade reacted to this

Yeah, I definitely need to remember to use counter more. I was always stuck in the Melee mindset where counter is one of Marth's worst moves. Now, it's pretty viable. Well in Brawl he was alright but I agree he was debuffed there But holy shit man Captain Falcon is the bane of my existence Dangit I knew I should've attended the church of Captain Falcon for latter day Brawlers

Hero of Winds 2,576 Posted December 27, 2014 I wanna work on my Megaman and Bowser combos so this might help me I need to better control myself before I can do these. I rush it so my moves come out wrong sometimes. Like I could use my side special, know I'm pushing in the direction to use it and somehow end up using a different special. It's much more rare than earlier on, but I have this problem the most in the 3DS version and while using GC Controllers on the Wii U version. 1 Dio Brando reacted to this
OmegaForte 1,674 Posted December 27, 2014 (edited) My only issue with dashing+attack is using a special too ahead of the player. Notability with ZSS. Some combos shown on the video are meh. Easily backfired if you dodge or attack (Yes, there's a few there you can react against.) Edited December 27, 2014 by OmegaForte
