Now we just hope that the Wii U can get some sot of service to stream/upload to Youtube or Twitch. Something better than what they did with MK8, hopefully.

You mean like what Sony did with the PS4 where you can upload gameplay footage to YouTube or stream on Twitch?

Also by the way guys Nintendo says it isn't working on premium DLC for both Smash bros 3DS and Wii U.

They will eventually. Nintendo will badger Sakurai soon, they'll make so much profit off of it, seriously.

This raises some questions though. Does that mean Mewtwo won't be purchasable DLC and only can be obtained if you get both copies? That would make alooooooooot of fans rage.

Yeah, this really does raise some questions. If Mewtwo really is only available from just having both the Wii U and 3DS version than yeah, like you said, it will make a lot of fans rage since there are some people who can't afford both versions.

Oh great, now people are going to whine whenever I use Shulk. :/

Nah, you're fine. lolEven though Shulk hits harder, he still has a lot of problems with his actual attacks considering how slow and laggy they are. Kinda like the problem with Dedede except Shulk isn't physically slow or bulky, so I doubt he'll really be "op". I haven't had much trouble dealing with him online since the patch, anyway.

Fufufu, are you forgetting that match we had Jilly? : P

But seriously though, yeah, Shulk's not OP. He just got a few smash attack boosts, overall you still need to be good at spacing and maximizing the Monado Artes potential if you really want to be good with him. He's not too hard to deal with, especially if you know the draw backs on the artes.

I guess no characters in the new smash brothers games have stepped into the realm of OP yet. Let's hope no characters turn OP in the new smash brothers games unlike the some characters in Naruto storm 3 (Masked Man and deidara were OP before they were patched in December of last year)

God, this dude destroyed me the other day. Teach me the ways, Master Shulk!

But seriously, I'm glad he got a well-deserved update. Although it's small, it allows for some actual balance, as he is pretty vulnerable when he misses moves (NEVER try his Down Smash unless you know he's gonna hit). I also think, by the way, that his Down Smash has more launching power, for some reason...

Lol, thanks, i've had alot of practice. xD

Yeah, although his Down Smash has always had alot of power from what i've seen. I can't tell you how many times i've killed with it, when someone rolled towards me.

And so the retailer exclusives continue...Meta Knight is exclusive to Best Buy. This leaves us with Rosalina and Lucario unaccounted-for.

Also, Sakurai has explained why Mewtwo will not be paid DLC:

"Creating a single fighter involves a huge investment, and we've already been giving it our all and investing a lot of work in the characters currently available in the game, and I think it's an incredible package in terms of the sheer amount of content in the game. But it might be that people may not understand and may think that I am not offering enough just by looking at DLC itself.

As for why Mewtwo isn't paid content from the start, releasing that character is an experiment meant to act as a foothold in content distribution; thus it's simply meant as part of the service we're providing to gamers.

...What I can say now about paid DLC is that we aren't working on anything at the moment. We've put all our efforts into making the actual game. Creating DLC would involve large additional costs and require the involvement of a lot of people."

Eh once they see sale numbers that's gonna change and they'll consider DLC like with Mario KArt 8

15 hours to go! Cannot wait to play Smash Wii U tonight.

I've been playing 1v1 matches against Level 9 cpus to train recently and I've realized that I've neglected my Lucina gameplay a lot during this period. So I picked her back up last night and when I compare her gameplay to my other gameplay, I have no struggle taking out the Level 9 CPUs compared to the several other characters I play as. I only lost 2 matches out of about 20 (and that was from accidentally killing myself). The only problem I end up having is that I get juggled a lot during one life, but even for that, I can still hold out on it for quite a long time.

Mewtwo DLC is part of the dual Smash Club Nintendo promotion. From the looks of it, he'll be released in March, which is something I actually expected. Then again, March could just be the end of the registration period. The CDs don't get shipped until March.

I've been avoiding every soundtrack video for a month now, so my ears should be treated with the glory of 70+ music tracks. BRING IT

Also....ugh....I live close to a Gamestop and Best Buy, but the nearest Toy's R' Us is a 4 hour drive from where I am, so I'm a little irked when I saw this:

Toys R Us gets Lucario?

Bets placed on Rosalina at Wal-mart.

Speaking of Wal-mart: Sonic, King Dedede, Bowser, Ike, Toon Link, Shiek, and Mega Man are now also listed on their online shop.

Sakurai was interviewed about Ridley.

I definitely know that Ridley’s a much-anticipated name for fans, but if we made Ridley as a fighter, it wouldn’t be Ridley any longer...it’d have to be shrunk down, or its wings reduced in size, or be unable to fly around freely.

Providing accurate portrayals of characters is something I want to pay ample attention to...if I don’t stick to that thought, then we’d have to lower the quality or break the balance of the game. Something that goes way off spec could break the entire game.

Source: http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2014/11/sakurai_explains_why_ridley_is_not_a_playable_fighter_in_super_smash_bros

This got a laugh out of me. xD Sakurai confirms that Ridley's too big.
