Yeah Falco could've changed into the Arwing instead....sure it'll be just like super Sonic but with Projectiles but at least it would fit his theme

 

But hey at least King Dedede got a much better final smash than his Big G dance

Honestly this practice isn't new and it was done by many others before if I remember

Demo Impressions:

 

Mario: Extremely well-rounded. He's comfortable to control and simple to use. However, a Lvl. 9 CPU is the biggest force to reckon with. Mario is the man to challenge when you want to go it alone as he's really tough. I can't stress the amount of times I only did like 25% to him and fell to him more than once in one match. 

 

Link: Still sucks...even with all the buffs. If you're a Link fan, but haven't been able to use him since Brawl, he's been buffed a lot, but he still doesn't come close to good. If you want a Link to do great with, stick to Toon Link. As a Lvl. 9 CPU you can toss him around without a single problem in 1v1 matches. They made him just a bit better in how he hits, but he's still too heavy and can't even break your chain on him.

 

Pikachu: The BEST Veteran in the demo. I played as him and won 6-7 matches in a row. His best uses are Up Throw with Thunder and his Down Smash and Forward Smash. They're all heavy hitters. His Final Smash (if you didn't know) is still Volt Tackle, but you can just toss enemies up off the screen if you press lightly with it. As a Lvl. 9 CPU, he's pretty average. Pikachu isn't the toughest opponent, but he still made sure I SD'd enough times to keep his game going.

 

Villager: Fun to play with, hard to work with. He's fun, but his Dash and Forward Smash are the only really good things to work with if you want to hit hard. Most of the opponents focus on each other and end up dodging right into your Forward Smash. Timing when to use his Pocket and what to use it on is rare, as the items vary and aren't all that useful in the long run. Both of his recovery moves are extremely overpowered. If you get spike by Mario, Up B (rapidly tap B and you're already  back on the stage). Forward B (Lloid Rocket) travels extremely far, so there's never a need to worry too much if get knocked around, your recoveries will always guarantee you return to the stage. Lvl. 9 CPU is pretty simple, but with the OP recovery moves, he's annoying.

 

Mega Man: Takes a little time to get used to, but is really amazing. I mostly used his Smash attacks, as they have great reach for the most part. Forward Smash is the Mega Buster Charge and it reaches more than halfway from one side of the stage to the other. It hits hard and has easy timing. Haven't trusted if Villager's Pocket works on it, but if it does, look out. His Down and Up Smash cover him pretty well too.  His Down B and Forward B are the most common to work with, but for the most part, I stuck to his Smash attacks. Lvl. 9 CPU is tough, and usually just spams his Up Smash, so don't even try to use your Down Air if he gets you up there, because his Up Smash is a Multi-hitter that can cancel out your Down Air most of the time. Just try to keep out of his reach if your fighting a Lvl. 9 CPU Mega Man. 

 

I'd also like to point out that, yes, the Lvl. 9 CPU AI has been buffed to the extent of the average Competitive Player. Lvl 5 is more similar to the Lvl. 9 of the previous titles.

I'm especially liking Charizard and Dedede's New Smashes. Although, i am a bit dissapointed with DP, literally just a rip off of Sheik/Zelda's except with the DP Staff instead of a Light Arrow. Oh well.

Charizard's final smash looks powerful ^_^ and I love that Dedede got a new final smash that actually kills instead of the Happy big G dance from Brawl

 

the one final Smash that dissapointed me is Falco's....he still uses the landmaster 

 

"Personally I prefer the air" then rides the "land" master

 

I know the arwing would be just Super Sonic but with laser but at least it fits with his theme

 

 

Also,I have one gripe against Landmaster,it got nerfed,it can't launch foes to the sky like before when you jump with it

You might be refering to Luigi's old final smash..........God I miss that one

The one that makes the dog dark brown and makes the body of the duck red.

Apparently there are reservation cards out already for Smash Bros. 4 Wii U now. The date of release on them is "November 21st 2014", A.K.A. the first official day of Winter 2014. In the U.S. I'm really sketchy on if this is the official release date, i don't buy, sometime in December seems more likely. I would say we could completely rule it out cause its a friday, but Smash 3DS comes out in the U.S. on October 3rd, which is also a friday, so it could be legit.

If I remember correctly, most Nintendo games release on Fridays. Wouldn't surprise me if Smash U did.

Yeah I'm kinda sad that the landmaster got nerfed as well. I loved sending people in the air to screw them over. But I guess for some people it made the LM a bit OP.
