Shulk 8,623 Posted September 2, 2014 I've been thinking about it... It's tough to believe that the game's going to be released in a little over a month now, and in just two weeks in Japan. I'm excited to play it and all, but the hype's honestly been half the game for me. I don't know that I'll ever have a game that gets me this excited over two minute clips and screenshots ever again. : Kinda crazy to think that it's coming to an end so soon. It's been a fun ride on the hype train, and I'll miss it. 2 Dio Brando and Reyn reacted to this

Same, unless gender options and some form of customization gets added to the new Zelda, then of course I'll be stoked while thousands of others misunderstand the new concept addition to a franchise they barely understand it's literal history for. I'd like to see that happen in Zelda, although I doubt it would get me as excited as Smash Bros. Smash Bros is pretty much what got me into Zelda, Metroid, and all those other Nintendo games (Aside from Pokemon and Mario, of course). I think that's part of why I'm so excited about the new game, Smash Bros is pretty much what made me the gamer I am today. The next Pokemon generation might do the trick for me, but I'm kinda doubting that. 2 Hero of Winds and Reyn reacted to this

Or... Pokemon, where they add a tiny tiny thing that sets off an uproar, such as changing shiny colours, or giving/taking moves off Pokemon. Though...the chances of being struck by lightning and living is higher than that happening in pokemon.

Hero of Winds 2,576 Posted September 2, 2014 (edited) Pic of the day. This time, you can challenge every fighter in All-Star Mode from the moment you turn on the game!! This is a survival battle with limited recovery items and no option to continue. However, this mode will be incomplete until you've unlocked every fighter... Until then, you can only play against characters that are already available. This is a picture of the bottom-screen menu, with a padlock indicating that the mode is still incomplete. All-Star Mode is available from the start. However, it is incomplete until you have unlocked every character unlocked. You face the characters in order of their chronilogical order of debuts, rather than in order of their series. In these battles, multiple opponents appear in one stage, and you clear the battle by defeating a number of them. The rest area that appears between battles displays the next opponents and the year the characters made their first appearances, and it also holds recovery items and an occasional reward. The characters you fight against appear pretty much in chronological order. Behold, the history of Nintendo games!! This pretty much sums it up for me There has never been a game that made me this hyped ever since Smash Bros Brawl Nope, not even the KH3 announcement was even close to the hype that Smash 4 generated inside me But hey,we still have things to hype ourselves with a liiiiiiittle bit longer with the unrevealed modes for the Wii U version Edited September 2, 2014 by Annoying D Waluigi 2 Shulk and Reyn reacted to this

I hope some people dun get confused with things like that. I'm pretty sure the debut years listed will be their official first debut, so with Shulk it'd be 2010, rather than 2011/2012. Also - Just a random gif. (it's going in a spoiler as it really belongs in Random, it's just not worth the thread) Falco vs Wolf

If they did it by release, Ness would be 1994 and Lucas would be '06. I'm sure Shulk will be 2010 though, unless they use when the first Xeno game's release date as the placeholder for his debut. Shulk 8,623 Posted September 2, 2014 This new All Star mode sounds really cool, but I don't like that it's unlocked from the start, even if it's incomplete. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Robin and Lucina would be the last two characters fought in it, right? Just out of who we've seen now. Also, please tell me we'll make some spoiler policy for when the game is released in Japan? I want to keep the secret characters secret, until I can play the game for myself. 3 Reyn, Hero of Winds and Omega Ness reacted to this

Yeah, Shulk would be right before them. Then again, Villager could be last, if they take from Animal Crossing New Leaf? Unless New Leaf came out before Awakening. No, it's based on the Character's debut, not the series/game's debut. Villager would be like 2001 as he/she has been the playable main character since Animal Forest debuted in Japan on the N64 in 2001. Most of us, including myself (having looked it up), dun know this fact, because we weren't introduced to the series until Animal Forest was ported to the Gamecube as Animal Crossing in 2004. Yes the first Animal Crossing we got was a remaster of the N64 title. This new All Star mode sounds really cool, but I don't like that it's unlocked from the start, even if it's incomplete. Greninja would be the last one, being from a Pokemon game released late 2013. Robin and Lucina are earlier than Greninja, though I believe they're also 2013. The leak has been proven real, no sense in denying it anymore. There're actually many things to fix for that order. Peach and Bowser have already been marked as 85. Mario debuted in Donkey Kong. Peach and Bowser didn't exist until Super Mario Bros on the NES. I'm not sure about Zelda (actually she appears in the list of completed fights right next to Link in the second pic for the pic of the day), but Ganondorf may be 98, as he didn't debut as Ganondorf until Ocarina of Time (then again they could work off of Ganon [namesake for his beast form] instead). They also use Ganon as a short hand name for Ganondorf in The Wind Waker. A lot of the time they used Ganon to refer to Ganondorf. Ganon however is a beastly form and should never be used to refer to Ganondorf himself. The maybe part saves you on ZSS, but I believe she'll be marked by the Zero Mission debut, as that's the game she had her major debut in. Hero of Winds 2,576 Posted September 3, 2014 (edited) Pic of the Day! Eight Color Variations for ALL characters. Normally it's four, or sometimes five or six. For Samus, we have: Varia Suit, Fusion Suit, Gravity Suit (Super Metroid), Dark Suit Gravity Suit (Metroid Prime), Green Samus (Smash Classic), Light Suit, Dark Samus The Villager has Four Male and Four Female. Here's the four we haven't seen yet. New Music Samples have been uploaded. This time they're tracks from Star Fox and Kid Icarus Uprising.
