As much as I love Nintendo, I have to admit that their games' names lately have been really generic. I mean, Mario Kart 7/8, New Super Mario Bros U, Yoshi's New Island, and now these.

Well,at least Mario Kart 8 is better naming than Mario Kart Wii or Mario Kart DS,but yeah I agree about Yoshi's New Island

 

at least the Pokemon main games have good names...in my opinion at least

 

But hey,in the end the content of the game is what matters

To be honest, I'd kinda prefer "Mario Kart U" over "Mario Kart 8" since that's the usual tradition, although more original names like "Double Dash" would be better.

 

Agreed, I still like the names of Pokemon games.

Dark Souls's sequel is Dark Souls 2

 

Kingdom Hearts 3

 

and the tradition of naming main FF games with latin numbers

 

Only few exceptions are made like the Pokemon games,most prequel games.....etc

I know, I just like it when games break off from the usual number sequels thing. Of course, naming it after the system isn't too much more original, but I still kinda like it more.

KH3 is different, since its always a staple for the numbered titles to be...well numbered. The other things i agree with though.

And, yet, several are happy Luigi's in the new one. He was in the original Twelve. And if you didn't get him in the first, he was in Melee. If not MELEE, HE WAS IN BRAWL!

Same here. I think the worst part is all of the people treating Sakurai like crap in the comments on the picture of the day posts. It really makes me mad to see them say that Sakurai isn't putting enough work into this game, when he's working extremely hard, even with his arm injury.

Yeah I agree with you. The Smash bros. community are full of ungrateful people who just can't be grateful enough that Sakurai is AT LEAST making another Smash bros game despite his arm injury (poor guy should really take a break). It saddens me to see people make such ignorant posts.

Newest Image is a comparison between the 3DS version with and without the outlines on. He also notes that they give off a different impression with 3D on. It's left with a few customizable options.

I never takes Miiverse seriously except for official posts and when I talk to my friends there.Otherwise I check other sites for news before I even glance at Miiverse

It's either some competitive assholes or just ungrateful pricks who'll never be happy unless whatever characters they said should be in the game.

 

Sakurai is working his ass off to make this game a masterpiece heck he started immediately after finishing Kid Icarus Uprising,another masterpiece he made on the 3DS,despite the injury he suffers.

 

Sakurai is one the developers that I respect the most alongside Keiji Inafune and Sakaguchi.

 

I really hope that Sakurai at least take a break for a little while,especially from posting Miiverse updates because the more details you feed those assholes the more ungrateful they get

It's a heavy weapon in KI Uprising so I doubt one can spam this of all things like the fan
