  1. 1. What would make you buy an Xbox One?

    • A lower price: $500 is too steep.

    • Get rid of the 24 hr online check-in requirement.

    • Exclusive games.

    • Nothing. Microsoft has lost me as a consumer/I'm just not interested in what they're offering.

Wrong in so many ways? Yea I don't think so :P

I DO think so. When you're the CEO of a company, you don't tell people to not buy their newer console and stick with the old one when they obviously want that new console too, but are unable to get because they might not have good internet. Instead of telling them to go away and stick with an older console, they could try to remove that negative point that so many people dislike. When something's broken, you fix it, you don't just leave it there and act like it never happened.

@KazHiraiCEO: Microsoft’s Don Mattrick has told soldiers to “fight a war in a country with better internet” if they want to play the XBOX ONE

Microsoft get your act together! If this keeps up you'll never sell another game console!

I would like some proof that this was said somewhere before I judge... if it's true though?

There's been a lot of negativity about the Xbox One. In general people seem to be against buying the console, so I was wondering what Microsoft would have to do to make appeal more to the skeptics.

For me it's a combination of the price point and the DRM/24 hr check-in requirement. I don't want to drop $500 on a console and I'm against the trend of gaming become a service; I want my single-player games to be playable independent of an online service.

I never liked the first Xbox, and Xbox 360 sucked form me(Though the controller was nice) so no, nothing about the Xbox One is appealing to me.

Get rid of DRM, embrace used games fully, lower the price, add the ability to make it function with Kinect completely removed, and make a TRUE Banjo-Kazooie game, one that's more like the first two games except on a much grander scale, and I might consider buying one.

I was never a consumer of Microsoft's home consoles to begin with.  The only game that's ever made me even think of getting the Xbox >360< was the remastered Rare/Rareware games.  The Xbone will have nothing that I personally enjoy, and would be a waste of money.  Even if I have lots of money to waste, I would buy the 360 over the Xbone.

I think the fact that it's not launching in Japan right away might be an issue for them. I can't imagine anyone in Japan who'd wait to buy that system after the PS4 launches sooner for cheaper.

EDIT: With regards to TGS, meh. Microsoft has made it clear that the U.S. is their target region. I wonder what they'll show at TGS that might persuade people to buy the system.

Nothing, exept if they'd somehow find a way to make Kingdom Hearts 3 and Final Fantasy XV exlusive to their console,I'd definitly buy it,but that's not going to happen so I'll never buy an Xbox One or any other Xbox, even if they have some good games.

I never cared for the Xbox, or the 360. The exclusives did not appeal to me and any games I did like were also available on PS3. I've always preferred Nintendo and Sony systems. Also, I never liked the feel of the controller. The offset control sticks always annoyed me.

I bet more sports, Halo, and Call of Duty. Games that do not appeal to the Japanese market.

The Xbox brand has never sold well in Japan in the first place. And it isnt even releasing in Japan right away. Basically Microsoft will be telling them, "hey Japan, you don't like our systems but here it is! It's more expensive than the PS4 and Wii U, it wont be available here for awhile, and you probably won't like the games either! Come buy it!"

Silly Microsoft.
