We tried before the last of us, but given the creative direction of our games right now, trying to go more realistic with Jak and Daxter didn’t work out. "realistic" why. RoxSox 3,593 Posted June 8, 2013 It isn't that they feel they have to make Jak and Daxter realistic, it's that they spent a deal of time conceptualizing a realistic reboot of the series, and they didn't like the way it was turning out, so they canned it before they got it off the ground, (very wisely I might add), so when the question is asked: "Will there be more Jak and Dax?", the answer is "not for a while, because we wasted some time with that, and we're not ready to go back to it quite yet." I still want my Jak where he as access to Dark sand Light forms and can channel the other Ecos in his normal form like in TPL. And keep the guns The only thing I'd keep from TLF is the Green Ammo mod (cant remember the name.) But still have Peace Maker too. And maybe the Eco Skills. Still think they should have had one for each type instead of 2 greens and 2 blues. I think Shield should have been Light and Teleport should have been Dark TBH Oh, and Add a Light Eco Gun Mod. They mentioned that they tried it, but they would only go into production if what they created felt superior to the earlier titles, or if it didn't feel like a rehash of the earlier titles.
