Reyn 1,755 Posted June 3, 2013 I disagree. A whole new game would require extra marketing, cost for manufacturing and distribution, and then you have people who already own the original game but aren't willing to pay full price to buy the same game with extra content. With DLC, they would just have to pay for the servers to host the content. The marketing for it would be part of the marketing for the whole game. More people would be likely to buy it because owners of the game wouldn't have to buy a whole new copy. And if they bundle it right it could come to a greater end profit than releasing a new game. There is a reason DLCs are so big. That being said, I'm just saying what I think would be best for SE. As we've seen, they haven't really been doing so well in the "best marketing strategies" standpoint. True. I cant argue with that.
JJForever 75 Posted June 3, 2013 Eh, by the time KH3 is released I don't think they will have a reason to make a "Final mix" version. They can add a lot new features and pretty much all of what they've done in the past FM versions through the use of DLC.
Sora96 17,256 Posted June 3, 2013 Let's just get Versus XIII first. Lol. They don't need to do a reissue, they could just release DLC. 1 Reyn reacted to this
Connected 978 Posted June 3, 2013 I saw Final mix's as a money maker for the company
twilight_roxas 326 Posted June 6, 2013 I was hoping DDD had a FM. Oh well
Henne 150 Posted June 11, 2013 I'm fine with a Final Mix as long as it only has teaser stuff for the next saga. They could just add the FM as DLC.
