JJForever 75 Posted June 2, 2013 Title says it all. Or do you think you'll actually start out with all your magic and abilities learned thus far while being level 1 and expand on them with a lot of new magic/abilities? I doubt it...
JTD95 1,107 Posted June 2, 2013 At the end of KH3D, Sora felt like he had failed, not just the test but himself by so easily allowing Xehanort to capture him. He might want to get some kind of new start.
Sora96 17,256 Posted June 2, 2013 Nomura's been asked this before. You'll find his response in our interview archive. http://kh13.com/interviews/ I've got honestly no idea.
VanitasTheBest 196 Posted June 2, 2013 Maybe it's just the way that the point he was in the End of KH3D is the level 1 in KH3 o.o Only because Sora's gonna be lvl 1 again it doesn't mean he's at the same point he was in KH1 ... He still has the experience of his previous adventures, the levelsystem is just in-game and doesn't really affect anything ... And KH3 is just another Journey were he learns much more things than before. 1 alldayeveryday1234 reacted to this

It's just when he learns different abilities and how he progresses for the player. Take Kingdom Hearts II for example. When Merlin asks him about his magic, Sora had "Forgotton" it because he was asleep. This is how they justified him starting without any magic or abilities. (This is what I mean about being level one, although technically he wasn't level one at that point, but you get it)In Kingdom Hearts III they won't have this excuse, or have 3D's excuse. So I don't know how they'll pull it off. It'll have "Kingdom Hearts III's excuse" Edited June 2, 2013 by JJForever

Weiss 8,279 Posted June 2, 2013 I think they'll start at level 40 or so instead of level 1.
