** If Flaming Lea does not respond to this thread, I'll be shocked! :P **

But, just thinking about this one scene for a moment is really sad. Lea and Isa were obviously the closest of friends when they were human and wanting to work for Ansem in the castle (and eventually getting adorably thrown out). Through the years, Lea who was now Axel, chose to at least attempt to be a good guy and eventually completely left the Organization and chose to identify as Lea again. Then, after all is said and done, he goes to save Sora, Riku, and Mickey from the clutches of the 13 darknesses and sees that he is under attack. And, who is he under attack by? Who is this person who is choosing to fight on the side of darkness under MX? Isa.

Imagine after being best friends, you now realize that you will be forced to fight for the greater good because he has chosen the wrong side.

He's been norted now so he doesn't really have a choice anymore. We don't know if he was norted against his will or if he was alright with it.

I'd say he didn't really wanted too, didn't Saix try to control the organisation,.. sort of, and find out Xemnas's secret agenda. But that's just a guess,

I prefer the idea that Saix has made his choices to be where he is now, rather than against his will. I always got the impression that he was fond of the idea of being in a position of power, and likes his role as the right-hand man in the Organization. It would make his relationship with Lea all the more tragic and interesting: as Saix grows more and more obsessed with climbing the corporate ladder, he forgets about what got him there in the first place: the assistance of his good friend Axel. The idea that he's thrown all of his past away in hopes of being a big shot makes him more complex than just being possessed.

Also, it highlights Axel's development more as well. At first, he seems perfectly fine with giving Saix a lift on his way to the top, but then, through Roxas and Xion, he finds (or remembers) the importance of friendship, and starts to have problems with just doing things for the sake of an agenda. While he didn't give two thoughts about taking out Zexion and Vexen for Saix, he draws the line at killing Roxas and Xion.

The two lifelong friends have now drifted apart irreversibly in their priorities.

Well we know that Saix was norted during Days . It wouldn't make sense for it to be voluntary considering Saix and Axel tried very hard to find what Xemnas was hiding and were planning to take over the organization .They were both convinced they were not gonna get their hearts back via Xemnas. ( that's why he says after Axel leaves that now they will never get their hearts back.). If he was voluntarily made a vessel he would already know what Xemnas was up to just like Xigbar did . Notice when Saix dies he cries out, 'Kingdom Hearts , where is my heart ? "  He just wanted his heart back...But when Xigbar dies he actually seems nonchalant and without a care in the world.  Why would saix/isa want to voluntarily join MX now if he never even wanted to trust Xemnas then ? However , it's possible that the more and more he became a xehanort over time the more he enjoyed his position of power. Also, as MX proved in DDD, he can possess his vessels anytime he pleases so it would be hard for Isa/Saix to resist even if he wanted to.

Isa might "wake-up" and sacrifice himself for Lea...That'd be pretty cool. Or he'll just be evil and Lea will have to kill him, thus creating even more feels.

Either way, THE FEEEELS that await us. lol
