Imoore4 687 Posted May 31, 2013 Do you think they'll fix the lip syncing in RE:COM in 1.5? Besides in FM and Days I think it would be a good idea if they fixed it in COM as well. It would be good for the experience I think but I doubt they will...your thought's? 2 143436611Xxcc and theultimatesorafan reacted to this
Weiss 8,279 Posted May 31, 2013 It wouldn't be nearly as funny if they did. I'm against them fixing it.
Tails 6,690 Posted May 31, 2013 It wouldn't be nearly as funny if they did. I'm against them fixing it. You're...actually against it? Wow that's a bit of a surprise since a lot of people have been complaining about the li syncing in Re; CoM.
Noby Raghavan 168 Posted May 31, 2013 I for one never noticed it until it was pointed out to me. I'm hoping they will, but who knows... 1 FireRubies1 reacted to this
Kishira 2,854 Posted May 31, 2013 Seeing as we won't be getting the game until September, they better fix the fuqing lip-syncing. They have pleeennty of time to do it. >:U 4 JTD95, darkchaser, FireRubies1 and 1 other reacted to this
Ultima Spark 753 Posted May 31, 2013 How long would it take to fix lip sync? AFAIK 1.5's COM and Days cutscenes are still (!) pre-rendered, so that might explain some of the hold-up (would take longer to fix than in-game stuffs)
MyDixieRect 2,061 Posted May 31, 2013 I for one never noticed it until it was pointed out to me. I'm hoping they will, but who knows... Same here...expect I still don't really notice it, apart from the REALLY obvious places.
FireRubies1 1,325 Posted May 31, 2013 Well Re:CoM had pre-rendered cutscenes so they couldn't fix it o3o. Maybe they can fix it now though
DJ369 183 Posted May 31, 2013 Meh... I don't really care about that. It's still kinda funny to watch and listen to it un-synched. lol
Awesomeness12 6 Posted May 31, 2013 (edited) They fixed it in 3D. Why wouldn't they fix it if they're doing a Remix with the rest of the games? Edited May 31, 2013 by Awesomeness12
Reyn 1,755 Posted May 31, 2013 FIX IT. I WANT FIXED LIP SYNC
Rinax 473 Posted June 1, 2013 I don't really notice it if I just watch the cutscene. But if I look closely, it's obvious.
143436611Xxcc 1,105 Posted June 1, 2013 that would make it a whole lot enjoyable.
Sora96 17,256 Posted June 1, 2013 They have to sync them anyway. They have to sync the remastered cutscenes with the dialogue they recorded in 2008.

oRoxas 17 Posted June 1, 2013 Hey, at least lip synching can't get worse than this. True true that was pretty bad. I for one never got the chance to buy Re:COM so I never saw the lip sync issues. I had the gba version which wasn't fun to play so I'm yet to play it and just excited in general that it's coming out. However, lip syncing bothers me quite a bit so unless it's funny I'll be upset. I actually never noticed any bad lip syncing in Re:CoM, to be honest. Next time I play, I'll probably try to see if I can find it.
Rob 5,571 Posted June 1, 2013 There was bad lip syncing?
peronmls 45 Posted June 2, 2013 They were pre rendered with the Japanese mouthing. They dubbed over it in English.
King.Mickey 359 Posted June 6, 2013 It wouldn't be nearly as funny if they did.I'm against them fixing it.It'd be more annoying than funny in the longrun. It should be more realistic. It would be much more believable and immersive...
Ultima Spark 753 Posted June 18, 2013 (edited) And...turns out they didn't fix lip-sync. ("There is no English lip syncing in either Re:CoM or Days.") Probably should've expected as much, with the pre-rendered nature of the scenes (would've taken too much time to fix, if possible at all). Also explains the re-translation of dialogue in Days.
