    • Yes, immortality sounds awesome to me.

    • Probably, the perks outweigh the negatives.

    • Maybe, I'd need some time to think it over.

    • Probably not, it sounds more like a curse than a benefit.

    • No, life without death would be an unending nightmare.

I'd rather not perpetually drown underwater after the polar ice caps have melted and flooded the world. And should I be mauled by a bear, I want a quick end to come, feeling the pain of each bite and attack until I am but a mass of bones and torn flesh, the pain present for days/weeks on end. And to watch everyone around me die? No thanks.

So no.

I don't like the way I am now so I wouldn't wanna stay like this forever.

What's wrong with the way you are now?

It would just be like Mirai Nikki. I'd be sitting all alone while the people I cared about were all dead.

I would say yes in six years, I'd still probably take it now of it was a one time deal, but I'd prefer to be a bit older

Well in Mirai Nikki.he chose to be like that, I mean he became a god and could've created whatever he wanted

No I wouldn't want to live forever if I were presented the opportunity. I wouldn't want to watch everyone I ever loved or cared about die as I went living on. Everyone has their time to die and we don't know when that will be. For example, I could walk outside today and get hit by a car. It is best that we enjoy our lives now despite all the obstacles we face in our daily lives.

This coincides with me talking about immortality yesterday, so I must be the cause of this thread. lol

As you are today?

I want to be younger looking, not looking old forever.

Not really, no. We learn from experience and age which teach us to do what's best for ourselves. Plus, watching everyone you cherish grow and pass on multiple times would be a living nightmare. I'd rather gain knowledge from experience and die alongside my loved ones than live forever at my current age and witness death of people I care about. It seems more of a burden/curse.

Well I mean you'd be lonely cause the people you loved would keep dying and eventually you'd just shut yourself in.

Yes, yes, yes! That way, I don't have to worry about who will keep track of the genealogy after me. And I can get lots of degrees and careers! Yuppy! But I'd also like my mother, grandparents and dog to be immortal as well. Life would be a little lonely without them.

If I can live for a really long time/forever, I can contribute to science, history, among other subjects that could benefit the human race. Maybe even make everyone have a longer life, and build cities specifically designed to handle over-population, with enough space for everyone without harming nature. And I want to keep track of all births and deaths, because when investigating my genealogy, I was greatly annoyed by how we don't know the names of so many people. And if they hadn't be born, we wouldn't have been born. Yet, we have not bothered to remember the names of so many... It's interesting and depressing, really.

So, yeah, it would be a huge benefit. Though I'd still look for ways to improve immortality. This got me thinking... Overall, yes, I want to be immortal and I would take the opportunity after reading the small letters.
