Naruto: The Ninja Way

Koukon watched Kinatama run off. "What's he going on about? His clothes... What about them?" He asked, as he walked back to the village gates, followed by his sister. "Ryu, where are you going? We're supposed to be waiting by the gates, not going into the forest..." He reminded Ryu.

Ryu ignored Koukon and continued. "Guess now's the time," Ryu whispered to himself until he was clearly out of sight. Ryu clapped his hands. "Chakra Lining," Ryu said as he formed a small transmutation circle around him . "Teleport me to the Mokuten Village," Ryu said as he put his hands on the circle. With that, he was gone and the transmutation circle disappeared.

 

"It's been a while," Ryu said as he looked at his now abandoned home.

Kinatama was racing hurriedly through the Leaf Village, hopping from tree to tree, building to building, and brushing past fellow ninja and citizens alike.

 

This is bad, this bad, he kept repeating in his head. It has to be them. It can't be any other group! Oh man, this is so BAD!

 

The red clad shinobi finally reached the Hokage tower, using his Body Flicker Jutsu to immediately teleport into Lord Hokage's office.

 

"Lord Hokage, I have something urgent to tell you!" Kinatama said, mixing in his normal energetic tone with bales of fear growing in his throat.

Naruto looked up to face Kinatama. "What's wrong?" He asked, noticing the concern in his voice. After the previous rogue ninja attack, he wasn't sure that the village could take any more issues.

Zalor blinked and smirked slowly. She sensed something wrong in the atmosphere.

 

"Well. About time to start." She grumbled and started jumping to the leaf village.

"Naruto, you won't believe what I just-uh, I mean..." Kinatama remembered how much more superior the blonde man wearing the Hokage's cloak was compared to him, and so, stopped in his tracks, cleared his throat, and started over. He spoke more formally this time:

 

"Lord Hokage, I, Chunin Kinatama Mottoyoi, assigned to the Genin team of Ryu Kekkai, Haruka Yougan, and Koukon Yougan, led by Jonin Cobias Cobalt, have just encountered what I presume to be a rouge ninja. This ninja wore an attire that I believe is reminiscent of a certain group rouges that you yourself fought in your earlier days as a shinobi. My Lord... I believe that the Akatsuki have returned."

Naruto's facial expression became more serious. "The Akatsuki? This is serious indeed..." He said. "I've sent a lot of jonin off, so security can't be as tight. I'll alert the ANBU, and tighten security as much as I'm able to." He told Kinatama, standing up as he did. "Thank you for informing me, Kinatama Hottoyoi." He nodded towards Kinatama, and began to leave his office. "Before I leave, is there anything else I need to be told?" He asked, making sure that he wasn't missing any important information.

"Yes there is, my Lord. The rouge I encountered spoke to us. He said things like 'Danger is nearing', 'the Time of both Chaos and Destruction will come upon this World and with it, the Chibaku Tensei Shinzui'. At first I didn't know what he was saying at all. But then, I analyzed his message; I can only assume that this Chibaku Tensei Shinzui is the new "Eye Of The Moon Plan" for the group. I've heard about the original Chibaku Tensei, the technique used by The Sage Of Six Paths to trap the Ten Tails... but this new jutsu... I have no idea what it could hold. I can only assume it's even stronger than the original. Of course, only the Akatsuki would have this kind of power."

Naruto stopped, and turned around. "The Eye of the Moon... That brings back bad memories." He muttered. He still remembered all his comrades who died as a result... "I wonder if that assassin was one of them...?" He asked out loud. "Kinatama. If you see any more people dressed like the Akatsuki, alert me at once. We won't let them threaten the world again..." He said. "You're dismissed." He told Kinatama, then left to alert the ANBU and Jonin.

Zalor kept jumping towards the leaf.

 

"Hm... I already caused a riot. Now a bigger one is going on." Zalor muttered and smirked. "About time we got this show on the road."

 

Zalor said and made sure to hide her chakra, all of it to be exact.

"I'd better go check on the kiddies now." Kinatama said to himself, letting himself out with another Body Flicker, teleporting to the top of the Hokage's Office and Academy building. He stepped to the edge of the building and looked out on the citizens and ninja that filled the village he called home.

 

"I wonder... can there truly be peace?" He wondered, putting his fear in the lives of his fellow villagers. Sighing, he jumped off the building and sped through the village, looking to meet up with his genin team once more.

Zalor finally reached the village again and smirked.

 

"Hm." She put on her mask and walked in, hiding in the darkness, no sign of her chakra.

"Focus my chakra on each ends of the circle," Ryu said as he stood in the middle of a giant transmutation circle. His eyes were closed and his hands were clapped together. He was in front of the Sacred Temple of the Mokuten. It was said that there was something hidden here that was the birth of all their clan jutsu. However, it took a great clansmember to open the doors. It hasn't been opened since the Sage of Six Paths. "Chakra lining," Ryu said. Seven lines of chakra flew out of Ryu and met the candles on each end of the circle. "Mokutensei!" Ryu shouted as he put his hands on the the transmutation circle. Then, he rushed to the door and pushed on it. "Open!" He shouted. No budge. Ryu then focused on the chakra within him. Out of all the villagers, he had the most chakra for an unknown reason.  He then used that chakra to reorganize the atoms in the door. The atoms barely moved. Almost as if the Sage of Six Paths himself made the door.

 

With one big shout, the doors opened. Ryu quickly walked in as the doors shut behind him.

Fire from lamps lit the way to a statue on a throne. "Why do you open this door? What do you seek?" The statue asked of him. "I seek the power that started my clan. The direct origin of this power of the Mokutensei," Ryu said as he looked at his hands. The statue looked at him. "I see HIM in you. Therefore I will train you to be just as strong. By the way, my name is Saito," The statue stood up from its throne and walked over to where Ryu stood. "My name is Ryu," Ryu replied. "Really? What's your real name?" Saito asked. Ryu looked shocked for a little. He didn't respond. "It's fine. I just hope our trust can be built later on," Saito replied as he sat down in a meditation position. Ryu did the same.

 

"Our first lesson is Chakra Control. Though the Mokutensei are known for good chakra control, it's always good to gain more," Saito said as Ryu began to close his eyes and focus.

Down through the dirt paths, Kinatama ran. He just as worried for his team as he was for the other villagers. The brother and sister have a close bond. I know Koukon will do anything to protect Haruka, and Haruka seems just as determined. But... Ryu... there's something about him. Heh, reminds me of the stories that I heard about Sasuke from when he was still a genin... and just the same... he seems... distant.

 

Kinatama stopped his thoughts as he suddenly passed by a woman wearing a mask. He felt some kind of weird aura surround them as he stood in place, while she still walked on.

 

He turned his head and looked at the woman's back. "Hey! You there!" He called.

Zalor continued walking, pretending she didn't hear anything.

 

'Damn it... I swear, if I get caught again...' Zalor thought and kept walking.

Kinatama's curiosity with this woman and his burning desire to have attention drove him to yell out again. "HEY! LADY! I'm talking to you!"

Zalor tensed up.

 

'Well.. Shit.' She thought and looked at the man. Great.. He looked strong. But not strong for Zalor.

 

"Yes?" She asked innocently.

"The Mokutensei is a technique that allows the user to rearrange the nonliving objects at will. While it may be affective, it is yet incomplete," Saito said as the two sat and focused their chakras. Ryu fidgeted a little. This statue, Saito, had a giant mass of chakra . It greatly overpowered the Nine Tails and probably would be a challenge the Ten Tails! Though Ryu had the chakra mass similar to a tailed beast such as the Nibi, even he felt powerless as this 'thing' outmatched him. "How is it incomplete?" Ryu managed to ask in between breaths. "Because the Mokutensei is a technique the Sage of Six Paths himself used," Saito replied. Ryu opened his eyes in shock. "That's blasphemous! How could the Sage of Six Paths use such a thing?!" Ryu shouted. "Go down the list of some of his 'popular' jutsu," Saito replied. Ryu lowered his voice a little. "Well there's, Chibaku Tensei and Shinra Tensei," Ryu said in confusion. "Yes there's Chibaku Tensei, the creation of all things, and Shinra Tense,i the almighty push. The third would be Moku Tensei, the technique to reconstruct and deconstruct," Saito said as he laughed a little. "The Moku Tensei isn't a compound word?!" Ryu asked shockingly. "Not at all," Saito replied.

 

Ryu was shocked to hear this. He closed his eyes once more. "Please, teach me to use the Moku Tensei," Ryu asked humbly. "Oh? What would you do with a power like that?" Saito questioned. "I will destroy the Leaf Village for what they've done and anyone else who was in on it. Then I will restore peace to this wretched world," Ryu replied. Saito didn't respond. After about five minutes, Saito took out a scroll. "Sign with your blood here. This will become your realm so anytime you need training, you can do a teleportation jutsu or you can summon me," Saito said as Ryu already started to sign.

 

"I will show you the Moku Tensei," Saito concluded.

"Glad you heard me this time," Kinatama replied, settling into a more calm and cheerful tone as he got closer to the woman.

 

"Name's Kinatama Mottoyoi. I'm a Chunin of this village. I'm curious to what you are doing here.You don't look like you're from the Hidden Leaf... in fact, you don't seem like you belong to any kind of village at all..."

Zalor glared under her mask. This guy was pissing her off.

 

"I just came here from the sand village on Gaara's orders." Zalor said calmly. She was lucky she put on a different cloak before she came here again.

"Oh, Gaara the Kazekage, huh?" Kinatama queried. "Hmm..." he scaled up and down the mysterious woman's body. "Wait... why do you refer to him as Gaara and not 'Lord Kazekage'?" Kinatama then asked. He believed that the leader of the village, the strongest ninja, should always have the most respect. His flub up with Naruto, er, Lord Hokage, was proof of his dedication to that belief.

"Naruto Uzumaki, the Hokage, he will be a tough one to beat, however, just like both this World and everyone on it will both his Time soon be up and the Chibaku Tensei Shinzui will finally take its shape in the way it is meant to but just to be sure that he won't be a thorn in my side, i shall summon at least most of the new Akatsuki's members if not all of them and then discuss on what to do about that Nine Tails' Jinchuriki." said Rinne to himself somewhere in a far away forest, as he uses a Jutsu similar to Gaara's Sand Eye to spy on both Naruto and Kinatama during their conversation.

Kinatama suddenly felt a strange new aura in the air. Why do I feel like I'm being watched... or wait, no, that's not it... I felt that before, with Naruto... but this new feeling... it's coming from this woman. it's the kind of feeling you get when you encounter someone like Naruto... I felt it before that time I met Killer Bee as well... just who is she? He thought, still waiting for Zalor to answer his question.

'Shit.' She thought.

 

"Lord Kazekage and I used to be close friends, along with Naruto, Lord Hokage." Zalor said a bit sharply. She was in no mood for formal names. Zalor turned away, then sensed chakra. Rinne Tensei... Zalor glared under her mask.

 

"I need to speak to the hokage." She said. A second try to make them more pissed off was good enough.

"Do you now?" The Crimson Bull wasn't exactly believing her story, but maybe a false sense of trust would lead him to the truth. And so, he dropped his serious look and replaced it with his normal, cheery one, though it wasn't really sincere.

 

"Well, I'm sorry to say, but our Lord Hokage is busy right now informing our higher ups about an upcoming threat. We've just been informed that the Akatsuki have possibly returned. You know anything about that?" Kinatama smirked, raising an eyebrow.
