User17k 211 Posted April 17, 2010 ok so in re com for sora's story on floor 7 all the way to when the final boss is deafeted is the same amount of time for riku from basement 6 all the way to him meeting Zexion. So answer this, in riku's story all that happens is he goes up three floors of worlds with no story in them and only fights one boss (Lexaeus). But in sora's story all of the following things happen, goes through 6 worlds with stories in them, fights riku replica four times, saves namine, fights and defeats larxene, fights vexen twice before axel eliminates him, then finishes off axel and marluxia three times while riku does nothing. CardCaptorDeadpool 386 Posted April 17, 2010 Thats because Riku spends a LOT of time brooding like a young smexy Batman
Vanitas 127 Posted April 17, 2010 me think the reason is that the whole point of Rikus story is 4 him to find Sora and help reawaken him
Keyblader 325 Posted April 17, 2010 yeah, i have wondered about that, riku enters the castle before sora, and then right before zexion appears to give him the destiny island card, sora defeats marluxia, and i believe destiny island is right before twighlight town, right? User17k 211 Posted April 17, 2010 riku enters the castle before sora, wrong Riku enters the castle after Sora
Paopufruity 122 Posted April 18, 2010 Its mentioned many times in his story, that Riku only meets dark memories when he goes to the card worlds, so therefor he doesn't met a lot of people.
User17k 211 Posted April 18, 2010 ok so the real question is why does riku's story go so slow when it feels like it's going fast compared to Sora's story. If Riku really was going at the same rate as Sora then by the time Riku met Zexion Sora would still be in Twilight Town
CardCaptorDeadpool 386 Posted April 18, 2010 ok so the real question is why does riku's story go so slow when it feels like it's going fast compared to Sora's story. If Riku really was going at the same rate as Sora then by the time Riku met Zexion Sora would still be in Twilight Town Thats just a "wibbily-wobbley-timey-whimy" issue, the flow of time in gameplay is significantly different in proportion to the flow of time in story. Theres also the flow time while brooding which Riku does a LOT, you'll need to put that into consideration too. But if you want the flow be similar you'll need to rush through Sora's story and take your time with Riku's. Btw for me the REAL question has always been why does Riku's head hurt? Axtwyt 500 Posted April 18, 2010 I'm throwing in a wild card here. Who knows how long riku was in the dark state (when he killed lexaeus)? Riku did come after Sora, but not long after (Zexion is suprised when he hears that Sora is there too). Riku also has to contend with Ansem and random fits of darkness (with Mickey saving him every time)
Heike 53 Posted April 18, 2010 um...well...I don't know but it realy a bit strange
Antrium 10 Posted April 20, 2010 Well Riku is awesome so he can get away with doing nothing, lol!:D:D:D:D:D:@DARKNESS:@
The Wise Ansem 1 Posted April 20, 2010 ok so in re com for sora's story on floor 7 all the way to when the final boss is deafeted is the same amount of time for riku from basement 6 all the way to him meeting Zexion. Riku was trying to face the darkness. He wanted nothing to do with it. When he fought Zexion it made Riku realize that he can make darkness his weapon. Therefore going up the floors and going to the worlds made Riku stronger and he faces the darkness. (By the way Riku fights more than one boss, Zexion, Lexaeus, and the bosses in the worlds.)
