Actually Sora is owned by Disney, or at least they own the rights to his image. He was a walk around at character at the Magic Kingdom during Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween to celebrate the release of CoM and there was viewable a statue of him for a moth at Tokyo DisneySea to promote Re:Coded. It could be fun if the gameplay wasn't based around you need a super attack to defeat an enemy. It seems like a silly mechanic but who knows time will tell if actually sucks or not

Is it sad I wouldn't care so much about Sora? I feel like FF is more popular anyway, so more people would know who Cloud is than Sora.

I've talked to some people who played the beta. they said it's not as silly as it sounds.

In fact, some of them preferred it to Smash Bros, because they said the characters were more unique

A developer that isn't a complete asshole would plan for DLC after the game comes out. After all, if your game completely bombs then at least you didn't lose money from starting work on a DLC that nobody would want anyway.

Well it's stupid t release DLC BEFORE a game comes out.

And that's a risk of DLC. It's fairly difficult to retroactively add DLC; it's much more effective to create the plans for the DLC in advance. That said, it doesn't actually mean you need to MAKE the DLC in advance, but planning ahead so it's possible to incorperate is a smart idea.

The amazing thing here is that almost all of those games are actually like Smash bros.

Does 'group of people get together to hit each other' make it a Smash bros clone?

In particular I laughed at the Force Unleashed being on there

Lightning being DLC in this game is much more likely than Sora or Cloud getting in combined.

mmm actually Ps all star is more similar to Digimon Rumble Arena than Smash Bros(I'm talking here as a nintendo fan)

Anyway even if it's a clone it's not that bad...I myself as a nintendo fan found it decent & I'm gonna buy it for two reasons

1it looks good

2it can be a good time killer until SSB4 comes out

 

back to topic....if we don't count the final mixes(which are special editions not remake as most of fans think)...the KH series wasn't an exclusive brand to either PS or nintendo Console...the series have been released equally on both sides(again...Final Mixes don't since they are a special editions not a remake)

 

there is a chance for Sora to be on oneboth of them but this chance is pretty slim compared to Cloud who's been a wanabee sony mascot since FFVII(he isn't a sony mascot but I mean he's just more popular)

Final Fantasy is just more popular and their characters can bring more cash to Sony if they are included especially since the Horrible Fanbase of FF kinda worship FFVII(I don't mean everyone or anyone here but I speak from my Experience with the FF Fanbase which I'll talk about in a seperate Topic)
