kristi-swat 61 Posted July 17, 2012 Imagine you have a toy plane on a pedestal in front of a wall. Turn the 3D on and the wall goes back into the background and the toy plane is being focused on. For example: the pilot wings video game. sure it's cool :DDD...and if it's off than the wall and the play stay on the same view?
hatok 6,413 Posted July 17, 2012 Everybody is talking about the 3D being on. There are benefits to having it off; smoother graphics are guaranteed (3D halves the resolution, as far as I can tell) but sometimes other things, like a higher framerate, occur in 2D mode. Additionally, 3D doesn't work for everybody, and even with people it does work for, odds are will cause some eye strain before your eyes adjust. Me personally, I had no problems with the 3D whatsoever, but literally everybody I know who has tried it HAS had trouble so... 1 kristi-swat reacted to this

hatok 6,413 Posted July 17, 2012 (edited) even though the graphics is cooler than the DS xPPPP...3d being on or off The 3DS is more powerful than the Wii, which is more powerful than the PS2, which is more powerful than the PSP, which is more powerful than the DSSo yes, one way or another, it'll look better than the DS or PSP EDIT: Derp, misread DS xPPPP as "DS * Multiplied by* PSP" Oh well, my point stands Edited July 17, 2012 by hatok 1 kristi-swat reacted to this
VentusX 20 Posted July 17, 2012 it gives a certain depth to the graphics, making it seems kinda more realistic, you dont really see a difference until you actually turn the 3d off though
SquareSora 133 Posted July 17, 2012 besides for some peopl 3d just doesnt work. either it hurts there eyes, or hurts them in some way. but 3d is way better than 2d viewing because the graphics become higher and better resolution, but also 2d looks better if u just want one, clear screen without effects to see the game more clearly. KHSonic 41 Posted July 17, 2012 What the screen does is while the 3D is on, depending on how high you put up the slider, the screen will show two of the same image. One for your left eye and one for your right eye. This gives the 3D effect and it works really well (depending on the game).

Queen Tery 4,591 Posted July 24, 2012 It'll cost about $170 and it'll look brand new. You could even get the color changed and a different memory card. The works! 10 Rob, Kinode, HarLea Quinn and 7 others reacted to this

Oishii 3,987 Posted July 24, 2012 Could you maybe take a picture? If there are broken parts or if either of the screens don't work then it might not be reparable before DDD release. 1 LightningXIII reacted to this
