For me, it was Kid Icarus:Uprising but after playing Fire Emblem : Awakening (which I still haven't beaten yet) that has become my favorite 3DS game as far as story goes. Caity 3,946 Posted May 25, 2013 I barely have any, but of those I have I like Zelda OoT the best, but I guess that doesn't count since it's a remake of a N64, so I'd gow tih KH 3D. The story revolves around you as you control these unrealistic people who run away from fires and let their house burn only to faint afterwards and do everything that you want them not to do. Rinax 473 Posted May 26, 2013 I only have 3D and Gates to Infinity. However, I like Gates' story overall. (But then again, all of the Mystery Dungeons have good stories.) DragonMaster 1,166 Posted May 26, 2013 I've got a pretty good sized collection of 3DS games. My favorite one in terms of story is, without a doubt, Tales of the Abyss. Loved that game to death. If we're going by 3DS exclusive games only, then Fire Emblem Awakening is the definite winner. It was also a great game that I played obsessively. Setrex 1,031 Posted May 26, 2013 (edited) Kingdom Hearts 3D is really the only game I have that has a story. I was not a fan of Tales of the Abyss so eh... Liberation Maiden was pretty good although that game was far too short so the story isn't even that big. I'm really waiting to pick up Bravely Default, Fire Emblem (too broke sadly), Pokemon XY and hoping Fantasy Life gets and English release so I can get some good story games. Edit: Traded in Tales of the Abyss and picked up Fire Emblem. My god it is so good but hey I do love the FE series. Then again, those two and Mario 3D Land are the only 3DS games I own, the rest are old DS games, including Days and Recoded. But KH3D is my favorite, story wise.
