Sorage55 10 Posted April 17, 2010 I had surgery. On my spine, last summer vacation. I had to miss my last day of middle school so I missed the reward ceremony. 7 hours of suregery after awakening I had extreme pain and suffering for the next 6 days lying in the hospital bed. 23 screws and 2 skinny rods jammed into my curved spine for fixing, I was feeling horrible. Once I learned how to walk and write again, I stood up in front of a mirror, I lost 15 pounds and was looking skinny as ever, but that was just because of lying in bed, then the fat rolld back out and I was looking just a little slimmer. Every night in the hospital I stared at the ceiling, unable to sleep because of the pain, and the medication they inserted in my now puffed veins, I swear I could smell it as it was being inserted again and again but they say its odor-less. I stare, delving deepe into insanity, losing the battle of arguing with myself. The hospital had a hand sanitizer around, and the odor hung through the rooms and the halls, even now at the smell of it I shutter from the memories, a few weeks later my bandages came off at home, and I looked upon a long skinny crimzon-red scar running down my back, I felt like a pig carcuss cut open. Now the scar is faded to a dull grey and my back is breaking from its numb shell, even the slightest touch on it hurt like a thousand needles, my back still hurts, the burning pain of muscles retracting and such. The pain, oh how common my pain now is. If only you all knew, if only my enemies could feel what I had felt, let them sqirm about the floor, die evermore, die evermore, fall on the floor, die a little more. The two funerals I experienced in my life drought away my tears, this surgery took away my happiness. Now I am more emotionless than before. Its horrible, even if I try, my voice stays a low-to-nothing emotion. I realized that after trying to voice Terra for english fan dubs of BBS, Youtubers say my voice has no emotion, after review, I noticed it doesn't. Giginha 22 Posted April 19, 2010 But it's still good, you know that there are some courses to train your voice, you could do some so you'd make your voice better.
Cricket 1,180 Posted April 19, 2010 I never really have had a surgery, but I guess pulling/cutting wisdom teeth out is possibly one? It was terrible, I remember spitting out blood and replacing gauze in my mouth and sterilizing the areas with salt water... Ugh.. Plus, I do not remember half of that week after I got them removed.. Chronic Tumor 149 Posted April 20, 2010 I was severly dehydrated and had to go into surgery. Mmmmhmmm yes surgery. That seems quite drastic. Usually they just hook you up to an IV drip
