Snow 1,800 Posted May 11, 2013 If you like girls, there actually might not be any reason to start liking boys. It's all up to you and what you prefer. At any rate, it's your choice and you should be content with whatever you choose. Nobody here will judge you. Caity 3,946 Posted May 11, 2013 Well, ponder this When you see a hot guy, do you have sensual thoughts of embracing each other in a passionate manner? If yes, you may be gay. If you currently fancy some wee girl right now why are you even questioning it though. 2 Jilly Shears and TheApprenticeofKingMickey reacted to this

waytothexdawnx 1,159 Posted May 11, 2013 Believe it or not, this is a very normal question to ask yourself, others, and have certain feelings towards. As a teen, I thought I could have been bisexual because I thought, and still do think, women are very attractive. Then I found the stem of where it came from. I wish I looked like them. I can appreciate a great looking woman and I definitely look, but I don't find myself wanting to be with one sexually at all. Not because Im against it, but because thats just not how I feel. I love men. I love men's style, hair, mouth, arms, back.. I'm just attracted to men and want to be with a man. I've kissed girls before and felt nothing. Even though they were very attractive, I didn't feel anything sexually for them, or feel anything romantic either. I just like being with men. You'll be able to tell if you want to be with the opposite sex. If you feel attracted to them, try what I did. Just make sure you let that person know you're "curious" and see how you feel when you kiss them. If you feel excited, happy, and want more… you could be bisexual. If you don't feel anything, you're not. If you're unsure, thats okay. Maybe it'll become more sure as you get older. If you don't want to expand your curiosity, thats fine. Do it when you're ready. If you never feel ready, don't do it. Just means you're not gay or bisexual. Good luck! 4 Koko, Anya, Jessica and 1 other reacted to this
Silvia Kuroi 1,480 Posted May 11, 2013 If you have no interest in guys, and have a crush on a girl...then no, you're not gay. If someone says you are--ignore them. A lot of people, are, sadly, jerks who think being 'gay' is a bad thing. Which it isn't, nor should it be. Of course, this all based on preference, so it is more or less up to you. Weiss 8,279 Posted May 11, 2013 (edited) First off, being gay is not a choice and it is never a choice. I don't think you're in denial. If you liked guys you would know. You say you have no romantic interest in guys so I assume you mean sexual interest as well so considering all of that you're probably not gay. RoxSox 3,593 Posted May 11, 2013 If you have to ask if you're gay, then you're probably not gay. That's kind of something you know, considering it's pretty simple: If you are attracted to women, you're straight, if you're attracted to men, you're gay, if you're attracted to both, then you're bisexual. Like I said: It's something you know, or learn about yourself. It's not a question that somebody else can answer. 1 Sorual reacted to this
Dracozombie 4,554 Posted May 11, 2013 i heard from someone its not my choice. Usually the people who say it's your choice are 1) really ignorant on sexuality, 2) bible-pushers, or 3) both. Who you're attracted to is not your choice. Sexuality is ridiculously complicated and no one truly knows what influences it. People can't even agree on what qualifies as sexuality, so it winds up boiling down to what you choose to identify by. If you choose to identify as gay, well, what do you have to prove for it? Being attracted to guys, which you're not? Doing gay actions like kissing or sex to other men, which you haven't done nor expressed any interest in? Labels can become a self-fulfilling prophecy but if you don't fulfill any of the qualifications typically associated with that label, why identify by it? 3 FireRubies1, Koko and TheApprenticeofKingMickey reacted to this

Velvet Scarlatina 607 Posted May 11, 2013 Yeah, if you're crushing on a girl, you're definitely straight. You didn't even explain why you think you're gay in your first post clearly enough. Even if you were, then who cares? Your sexuality is literally in your genes. You are either born straight, homosexual, or bisexual. It's your body telling you, "You'll have more of an advantage getting a mate if you do this gender/both genders". What I'm basically saying is its completely normal to be gay, if that's what you're thinking. Admittedly, seeing two dudes/two girls make out with one another is something I want to turn my head away from, but I'd rather not watch my parents make out either. If people don't respect you for you, then they don't truly like you.

Koko 3,944 Posted May 11, 2013 but is it possible to just stop liking girls and start liking boys? it is does it mean itll happen not really is it bad if it happens no in my early middle school years i liked boys and getting into high school i was like woah girls are hot and stopped liking boys and now in late high school ive realized im pretty much attracted to people based on appearance and presentation not gender. sexuality is fluid and you might like girls now but its possible that when youre older that wont be the case it doesnt mean youre gay unless you choose to identify as gay 2 FireRubies1 and TheApprenticeofKingMickey reacted to this

Amon 4,279 Posted May 12, 2013 Here's how you can test that out. Look at a guy that most people can say is good looking, say an Abercrombie model or something. Now ask yourself these things. - Do you want to walk down the street holding hands with this guy? - Do you want to cuddle in bed with this guy? - Do you want to hold him closely and passionately? - Do you want to pleasure his manhood? If you answer "No" to any of these questions, you probably aren't gay. 3 TheApprenticeofKingMickey, Koko and Think Pink reacted to this
MyDixieRect 2,061 Posted May 12, 2013 (edited) If you don't have any form of sexual attraction to guys AND have a crush on a girl then I really doubt you are a gay in denial. As for whether you'll become gay in the future, who can say? Statistically however, it's very unlikely, so I wouldn't worry if that's what your afraid of. As harsh as this may sound...some people have "therapy" to "cure" themselves apparently. So if you're that against it and one day you realize you're gay there's this step. How it works I don't know. But really when you find the one you want to be with be it a man or a woman you'll be glad you were straight or gay so that you both could be together, happy and in love, so it's not worth worrying about either way.
