Text A Kingdom Hearts Poem: "Together"

- TOGETHER -

I knew nothing

I came to that place with a blank slate

In fact, the first thing I remember

Is seeing you

From then on, it was simple

We were all friends.

I watched you

How you would act

Sometimes it was funny

Sometimes it was annoying

But even with all that

I still knew you cared.

That's why I was so scared

The first time it happened

You turned away from me

And you were almost gone

In the end, though, you came back

But then you had to leave again.

I waited for you

For so long 

I forget about you

But then I remembered

That's what made me go

I couldn't wait anymore

And even though it was dangerous

I found you

And you found me

At first I thought it wasn't real

But then I felt you near

And I knew that it was.

From there, it felt like it was over

But then, you left again

And I waited

Until you came back

Without him

But now I know

Just like before

Someday

We'll all be together again.

Aww, I loved it! It's very song-like, too. I know you can make a song out of any poem, but this one just has a really strong "lyric" feel to it. Depressing, but a tint of hope in the speaker's tone.
