catmaster0116 2,676 Posted May 3, 2013 Seeing as Yen Press will release KH2 manga in english in the future, should the KH manga translating team continue to translate and release the scans? Because if we put our time and effort into translating something that nobody reads and to top it off, if it will be professionally redone again by a publishing company, then it might feel like we're wasting our time. I just want to know how popular the series is and the demand amongst the KH fans in a forum. I have spoken to a few of you and I understand that some of you love the series with a burning passion for its humour while others aren't so enthusiastic about the manga series. There are new KH2 raw scans and I have spoken to Sora96, and the translating team (Corfidbizna and Taime) and we are just wanting to make a decision whether or not to continue. I mean, I think it's great that you're translating it for all the Kingdom Hearts fans, but because of all the time and energy you must dedicate into the translation and scans it doesn't seem worth it, considering the English version is to be released soon. So. . . yeah, I'd say dedicate your time and energy into something more productive! No sense in spending so much time into something that won't be necessary in the near future, y'know? Also, not everyone wants to/is able to buy the manga (for a variety of reasons), so they'd appreciate it if it's on an easy-to-find location.
