twilight_roxas 326 Posted April 27, 2013 Anyone thinks they should make a Kingdom Hearts game involving Kairi's training that lets her be playable and travel to worlds by herself? 2 Sorual and AnHeiressofaSOLDIER reacted to this
HarLea Quinn 26,501 Posted April 27, 2013 Yes and Lea should have like a reverse rebirth side to it as they train for the upcoming battle! Too bad it won't happen though. 5 Reyn, AnHeiressofaSOLDIER, Demyx. and 2 others reacted to this
SquareSora 133 Posted April 27, 2013 No that would be a waste of time. but they could make it like a small downloadable game when kh3 is released. other than that her training would be with king mickey and theirs no need for extra stuff but thats just my opinion. twilight_roxas 326 Posted April 27, 2013 Because I had this idea were Kairi after her training takes the Mark of Mastery by traveling back in time, fighting new enemies call Time Creepers, and locking the keyholes of time in each world.
AnHeiressofaSOLDIER 358 Posted April 27, 2013 I still say the best thing would be for her to be the tutorial character in III. I mean, it would make sense story wise and it would cover her training in a satisfactory way, I think. Really, I think the idea's just too good to pass up. It would give her more screen time that she deserve early on, appease those who want to play as her without being too sidetrack-y, and it would be a book end. KHI had Sora have his "Awakening", KHII was Roxas', so why not Kairi for III? And going along with that, if we play as her first, maybe that'll make Sora at a higher level when we get him (kind of like the Roxas to Sora transfer in II). That would also make sense with the story, seeing as how since Sora's pretty much at Master status... he really shouldn't start out at level 1 again. 2 HarLea Quinn and King.Mickey reacted to this
twilight_roxas 326 Posted April 27, 2013 Plus her main foe would be Ultimecia the time witch who becomes the queen of the Time Creepers.

Don't give Square Enix the idea of releasing half a game and you having to shell out extra cash for the other half. Most games of today are so much bulls#it because of that. Sikota Urinakano 876 Posted April 27, 2013 Twilight_Roxas, you have genius ideas.
twilight_roxas 326 Posted April 27, 2013 Thanks Sikota plus Kairi would gain the ability to control time.
Oishii 3,987 Posted April 27, 2013 Not before KH3. Nomura would add unneeded complication to the story. A game for Kairi AFTER KH3 would be cool.
twilight_roxas 326 Posted April 27, 2013 True plus Kairi would travel to worlds new and old.

Caity 3,946 Posted April 27, 2013 Yes, Kairi should travel between worlds using light/princess based attacks, meet each of the other PoH and gain new abilities from them; and it should be like a sleeping world/special universe so that time is barely passing and then when her stories done they can jump right into KH3. And it should look like this: (Path of Hope) = PoH (Princess of Heart) However they won't do it since so many people have complained about the handheld games (which they automatically see as a side game) with "GIVE US KH3" that they won't make any more side games between the remix's and KH3. twilight_roxas 326 Posted April 27, 2013 I was thinking of it as a console game for Wii U. Plus the worlds that are old she would go to are Traverse Town, Wonderland, Neverland, Atlantica, Olympus Coliseum, and Radiant Garden.
Dave 5,715 Posted April 27, 2013 . Nomura would add unneeded complication to the story. Not that it's ever stopped Nomura before...

They should do a game like that for the game that bridges 3 and 4. I REALLY want to play as Kairi...I'm pretty sure she's going to be playable in the next saga if not in 3, seeing as Riku got to be in a couple already. I can't wait... Dracozombie 4,554 Posted April 27, 2013 I dunno. I'm conflicted about Kairi getting too much spotlight. On one hand, they've totally dropped the ball when it comes to using her, so this could redeem her. Her role isn't as engaging when compared to the other characters, and her status as a Princess of Heart has been given little to no attention since KH1, so they figured they could make her a keyblade wielder. In theory, this would be great. While Namine proves non-combatants can play a massive part, they couldn't (or didn't) find a way to work in Kairi as a non-combatant while being on the same level of significance as Namine. Since they couldn't (or didn't) take advantage of the PoH thing, they could finally give her some focus as a fighter who can play an active role in things, not a passive role. On the other hand, if they wanted to give Kairi this kind of significance, why did they wait until now to do it? When the saga is in its final stretch and so many other things will be going on to wrap things up? Even as a keyblade wielder, Kairi could still very well be overshadowed by significant things that were previously established. Since Kairi has been on the sidelines since the very beginning, and we're only now seeing her in the forefront, things have the risk of being too rushed or out of place. There's also the matter that spotlight won't inherently do her good. Characters in KH have plenty of spotlight, often getting their own games, and people still hate them precisely because they get so much attention (or it was just pulled off poorly). Kairi could get her own game or side story, but for all we know, people could hate her even more depending on how things go. We may have to face the possibility that Kairi is doomed to remain a side character. It's too late in the series to give a character pushed to the background a push to the front without it getting in the way of the other things KH has introduced and needs to wrap up. If they can pull it off, it'd be beyond great, but KH so far hasn't given me any reason to believe they could do Kairi some justice. 1 Ruran reacted to this

Actually, when you play as Sora after finishing Roxas's story, i thought you would have the same level as he did, but you don't. Sora starts out at Level 1 NO MATTER WHAT IN KH2. Thats so people who decide for some dumb reason to Grind to Level 99 as Roxas won't be able to have an Overpowered Sora for the whole game. But yeah, it would make you whatever level Kairi is when she passes the Tutorial the next time you play as her. And Sora will start at Level 1, trust me. Nomura will find something to say. He'll probably just say since Sora was sleeping the whole time in DDD, he got weaker. Same goes for Riku.
