Creatures Game

Recommended Posts

Yeah, so if you read the sign-ups, you know what's going on. Everyone wakes up in their new apartment room. Get out of bed, go into town, and start building new memories by interacting with others. On the final note, as you wake, there is a voice saying a single line that you barely hear.

"Let the game commence"

Silver's ears twitched. It was the first indication that he was about to wake up.

Let the Game commence. A voice said, the whisper in his mind immediately causing him to wake up, wondering where in the world he was. "W-woah!" He exclaimed, his eyes gazing about what looked like an apartment.

"I-I don't remember this...more importantly, I don't remember anything!" He exclaimed to himself, noticing the silver bracelet attached to his wrist. He gazed at it for a few moments, completely confused. Even then, he got up and began to walk around the perimeter of the room he found himself in. It was ordinary. That much was certain; just a regular old apartment.

Why are you here? Demon. Scum. Useless. Virus. I was called everything I still didn't know why nor trying to figure out. I just kept going on with life... But...what was I here for? "Let the games commence." I opened my eyes staring at my light green ceiling I sat up looking around at my room. And my sleeping companion Snow. I looked out the window letting the breeze hit my face as I slowly became more awake. Then stretched getting out of my bed doing regular morning things; wake up, brush teeth, brush hair, etc. But it caused Snow to wake up yawning he greeted me by rubbing his face against my legs. Then I put my eye patch on as well as a grey funnel-collar that went no higher than my chin and that had no sleeves, a short sleeved dark blue shirt and black shorts. I walked downstairs with my buddy and headed towards the kitchen and fixed a small breakfast. I has to put on the large blue collar around Snow's neck. Then took the small bag that had some tennis balls with some gloves, put on my dark blue sneakers. Grabbed my checkerboard skateboard and headed to the park.

"Well... I guess I partied too hard last night... Well, they say the party don't start till I walk in." He sat up in his wrecked hotel room. "Life of a rock star." He said, as he checked his watch to see what time it was, it was instead replaced with a silver wrist band. It was thick, engraved with many symbols, it had a bunch of gem's inside of it. It had a green, blue, orange, white, blue, and a blue with silver streaks stone sat inside of the band. "A little god-y for my style, but I like it." He got up and got dressed, stepping on crushed cans and balloons.

"Turn off the lights" she said sleepishly as the sun shined threw the window making the whole room bright

She stirred and rolled over in the bed almost to the edge, Ryu was about to head back to sleep when Let the game commence... she heard something, she didnt know what it was or if it was her imagination, it startled her making her flip off the bed landing on the floor

"Ouch!" rubbing her head she got up and stretched "Another day" sighing to herself she grabbed a white tanktop with a white button shirt, a pair of black skinny jeans, and her neon Jordans

"Guess i'll go walk into town, don't have anything else to do" Ryu got dressed and put her headphones around her neck and got a black snapback flipping it backwards then putting it on

"Let the Game Commence..." Kami bearly heard. What does that mean?

Her eyes fluttered open, them weighing back down again.

'Why am I so tired...?' she thought.

Rolling over, Kami was now at the edge of her bed. Without a word she hopped up, yawning a bit. She got dressed in her white short dress, buttoning up her vest with the oversized sleeves and tying the navy blue bow loosely around her neck so it hung a bit. Kami put on her socks and shoes that blend into her socks, then blushing her matted hair that took little effort.

She hated this new apartment...she never loved apartments. Kami opened the door, walking down the stairs of the second level apartment, and out onto the street. It was dawn, and the air was wet and cold. Rather perfect for Kami.

Let the Games Commence...

Joe rolled off the bed and into a crouched position, looking around for a speaker. Seeing no one, he muttered a few few oaths. He stood up and stretched. As he was getting his shirt on, it got caught on a silver bracelet on his left wrist. He frowned at it a moment. It was engraved with markings and symbols like some of the stuff Grandpa's medicen bag.

After a moment, he got his shirt on properly, giving the bracelet no more attention. Joe got his socks and boots on and went outside. He felt tense for some reason. A good run would help.

"Let the game commence..." a voice echoed in Kinzie's ears. She woke, and sat up, shaking her head a bit. "The heck did I do?" She ran her hand through her hair, quite confused. She felt a significant new weight on her wrist as well, and looked to it. It was a silver bracelet, not quite her style, she'd have preferred red, but it was free and she could never go wrong with that. Kinzie pushed herself out of bed and stretched. She tried to recall the last night, or... anything. Her mind was completely empty. How odd. Kinzie walked over to the door of the bathroom, which she assumed was hers, and opened it. She started the shower going, leaving it on for the hot water to get started. She continued to try and remember anything. Anything. A birthday, a friend, this apartment, anything. But nothing.

Matt woke up faintly hearing a voice saying "Let the game commence", but didn't think anything of it. Matt also noticed a silver bracelet on his arm. "Hmm, someone must've slapped this on me last night, strange." said Matt as he got out of bed. Once Matt got dressed, he headed of of the apartment. As he was heading out of the building, he began thinking to himself. 'How did i end up here, what's with this bracelet, what does that voice mean.......and what is going on?' thought Matt.

Derik was, for once, wearing his casual clothes, which were a pair of dark grey pants and a red shirt with black lines across the shoulders and across the back and front with a line down the center. His rouge eyes moved about the room, looming for his guitar.when he found the cherry red instrument, he strummed a few notes as he went into the hallway, he ends up walking right out in front of Xei.

Neisan awoke from a troubled sleep, the words from his dream still ringing in his ears. Let the game commence, eh? What game? Perhaps the dream meant nothing at all. Neisan got up and stretched. As he moved, and unfamiliar weight slid down his arm a few inches. Neisan stared at the bracelet with a quizzical look. How did that get there? What was it even for? Neisan brushed his hand against it, and with a flash of light and a rustling sound, a book was sitting in the bedspread. The book opened its jaw and bit down softly and affectionately on Neisan's arm. Perhaps the dream meant everything in the world.

I ran out with Snow walking down the steps, I could tell he was excited and eager. Wagging his tail furiously as we reached the bottom. I had to put a leash on him even though he was very behaved, but others didn't know so I had keep him on a leash. Snow was fine with it since his collar was pretty loose, I attached the long black leash on to his collar and got on my skateboard. He already knew where we were going, well...I did tell him. Pedestrians stepped aside as we came through, but we weren't going that fast either so we were okay. Then the rolling green hills were showing as well as the many other people here many other dog owners... But he was different...Snow didn't mind though, often he played with the other dogs easily as if nothing was different about him. Which I was glad about, I was able to talk to other dogs as well. Which was nice too, once we reached the park I put my skateboard in my bag and headed towards the fields. Me and Snow ran out together after I took off his leash. I grabbed some of the tennis balls and started playing fetch with him. It was slightly cold which I liked as I watched my happy friend chase after the yellow ball like a cheetah.

Matt continued down the street, but was still thinking about what was going on, specifically, what the bracelet was and if anyone else was wondering the same thing, and were having the same weird morning. "Man, I wish I knew what in blazes was going on, I don't even remember how I got in that apartment, oh well, can't really complain, can I?" Matt asked himself. Matt eventually reached a park, but was run over by a dog chasing a yellow ball. "Ouch.....watch it buddy!" yelled Matt.

"Ah... Sorry!" I whistled as Snow got the ball. I ran over to the guy (Matt) and Snow ran over to and sat down. "Sorry... Are you okay? Snow usually watches where he's going..." I looked at the boy and reached out my hand. This was the first time Snow has ran over someone, and he's a wolf...so he probably hurts more as well... And plus there were more people today than usual, most times we only see one or two people here. And we see four or five dog owners. Snow could tell that he did something wrong and started whimpering as his 'sorry'.

Kami couldn't help but notice a boy playing with a husky...by the looks of the dog: and this stopped her for a second. She gave a soft laugh as the dog ran into someone. Why does she take some stuff funnily when it is really serious in a way? Kami sighed, turning around, walking past Zero and Matt rather quickly. This new city confused her, and what confused her more was the message she received this morning. Let the game begin....or commence...whatever that could mean.

Matt accepted the guys help, which was sort of out of his kind of personality. "Tell me something, what kind of guy has a wolf for a pet?" asked Matt. Matt was a pretty curious guy, especially since he woke up in a strange apartment that seemed to be his. "Cause things have been weird since I woke up this morning with this bracelet on." said Matt.

"Oh...you could tell? Most people think it's a white husky." I kneeled down in front of Snow petting his head as I grabbed the ball from him. "He saved my life, and ever since then we have stayed together almost like a pack. More like blood brothers, yet oddly I could understand him too..." I heard him mention 'weird things' that's when I remembered "Let the games commence." I spoke up, "Is that so? Well one weird thing happened to me this morning... By the way... What's your name? If you don't mind me asking." I stood up again looking at the guy.

Matt noticed the girl run by earlier, but didn't think much of it, as he thought she was just someone out for a run. "My name....is Matt......i'm sorry to say you won't get much more out of me." said Matt. Matt was really secretive, and rarely told anyone anything else but his name, he knew some people would be more persistent to find out more. "You said one weird thing happened to you this morning.....lemme guess, a voice in you head." Matt joked, thinking he was the only one that happened to.

"That's fine everyone has their secrets, oh and my name is Zero nice to meet you. But I have to ask...did you hear 'Let the games commence?'" I asked as my face became serious now but then became my regular self again. "Ah sorry crazy right?" I rubbed my head in embarrassment since I had just asked a stranger that. In all of this though Snow waited patiently for me to play fetch with him again and laid down on the grass. But I kept wondering...what if his man heard the same thing I did? Am I going nuts? Or what...

After Matt heard Zero's question, he seemed to get pretty curious as to how many had the same thing happen. "What do you know, are you the one who said that?" asked Matt. Matt seemed to be more serious than usual at this point, as he wanted to find out who said that phrase, and what in the world was going on, and he was going to find out if it killed him.

"I don't know know more than what do you probably, I'll I know is that a voice in my head said. Let the games commence." I responded wanted to know more too, I mean what was happening? And where there even more people who heard 'the voice'? All I could do right now was to wait, wait for an answer... But more important than who said it... What was this GAME? I didn't have a good feeling about this and I could tell Snow didn't either... But we should try looking for something...even a clue would help tremendously...

In a flash, Zero and Matt were suddenly in a dark, circular room, framed by columns. "I guess you two will make for sufficient starters." Said the mysterious voice. Swirls of white light began gathering before them. It slowly began to take shape. When complete, it was a large, brawny white saber-toothed tiger. "Meet Sebrus. He will be your opponent. But I guess you'll need some assistance." Matt's bracelet glowed and in its own swirls of light flew out to form a wolf in front of him. "Here, have a new friend. These Creatures of your gave untapped potential, realize that potential before you or your allies fall." Sebrus lunged at Snow.

Silver adventurously poked his head out his door, peering out into what was a hallway.

I'm in an apartment building. How did I end up here? What the heck is going on?! Silver thought, swallowing his fear as he cautiously slipped out the door, his cat-like tail swishing in a frenzied manner.

The only thing I can think of is my name, at least, I hope it is. Silver. Isn't that...an element? Or a rock? I don't know. Silver thought, his breath heavy as he looked around the hallway, trying to find anyone else at all.

"Snow!" I jumped after him grabbing him out of the way as well as myself. This had happened a while ago as well Snow saved my life then but I didn't know how either... Snow soon got out of my grip growling at the white saber-toothed tiger and within his mouth he gathered...ice? Ice began forming in his mouth then he shot it at Sebrus, barking as if it were thunder. A huge chunk of ice formed but I doubted it would stop Sebrus for long... I fell on one knee realizing that Sebrus had got me in the back of my leg. Crap! At a time like this? Strategy time um... I could be bait...if I was fast enough... I felt useless not being able to help Snow...
