I mostly grew up on these (note that these are almost exclusively SNES games): Super Mario World Super Mario All Stars Mystic Quest Kirby Superstar Final Fantasy VI (well, III in the US SNES version) Donkey Kong Country Super Mario 64 The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Pokemon Yellow The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons and Ages (was a little older when these came out, but still enjoyed them.)
