Reyn 1,755 Posted April 20, 2013 I mean, ive tried Rolling in Real Life, and unless you do it on something soft, it REALLY HURTS YOUR HEAD. Seriously, it hurts like a b****. I mean, maybe Sora's hair(And Ven's hair too) cushions the impact for them, but what about Riku. His hair is flatter on the top, so he doesn't really have any protection.
Sikota Urinakano 876 Posted April 20, 2013 Shoulder rolls. They lesten the impact. Sensei taught me that. 1 Reyn reacted to this

Weiss 8,279 Posted April 20, 2013 Don't forget Aqua also I blame video game logic + Nomura logic + Disney logic there's no end to what is possible
LordOfTheCastle 92 Posted April 20, 2013 You're supposed to roll on your shoulder, like someone already said. Somersaults on the ground are totally useless in every situation except showing off as a little kid, or being kidnapped by a murderer who puts you in a Saw-style trap that requires you to do a somersault within 30 seconds or you'll be burned alive.Kinda got off topic there but yeah. Ven983 490 Posted April 20, 2013 How does Sora glide across the air without any special equipment? If we start questioning video game logic we will never get anywhere. 1 WakelessDream reacted to this
Guest Posted April 20, 2013 How does Sora glide across the air without any special equipment? If we start questioning video game logic we will never get anywhere. Well... His name IS Sora(which is a variation of "Sky" in Japanese.
AntonioKHT 449 Posted April 20, 2013 Video Game Universe. There are pretty strong and gotta to have some abilites in stuff like parkours (again I know but it's the truth). They can just hold on edges and raise their own fricking weight! Dash around sometimes. Not to mention keep running endlesly. 1 Reyn reacted to this
Reyn 1,755 Posted April 20, 2013 Shoulder rolls. They lesten the impact. Sensei taught me that. Oh yeah, forgot about those. And i learned that in Gymnastics too. *sheepish grin* But, it looks like Sora and Ven(And Riku) tend to roll directly forward then Shoulder, but i guess its safe to assume they do Should Rolls. if u noticed riku holds his arm out when he dodge rolls Ok, that covers him, but what about Sora and Ven? Don't forget Aqua also I blame video game logic + Nomura logic + Disney logic there's no end to what is possible Its different for Aqua, she Cartwheels, and even though those are REALLY HARD to do in rapid succession, she doesn't really get pain from doing that, unlike Rolling forward, which hurts your head alot. You're supposed to roll on your shoulder, like someone already said. Somersaults on the ground are totally useless in every situation except showing off as a little kid, or being kidnapped by a murderer who puts you in a Saw-style trap that requires you to do a somersault within 30 seconds or you'll be burned alive.Kinda got off topic there but yeah. True. But it looks like Sora, Ven, and Riku rolls directly forward, rather than Should Rolling. How does Sora glide across the air without any special equipment? If we start questioning video game logic we will never get anywhere. Well, he has remnants of Pixie Dust on him, or he just BELIEVES, thats how he can Glide. Well... His name IS Sora(which is a variation of "Sky" in Japanese. This^
WakelessDream 2,280 Posted April 20, 2013 Well dodge rolling in real life doesn't exactly equal dodge rolling in Kingdom Hearts, among other things . Besides I'm pretty sure all three of them have experienced more pain than that which would come from dodge rolling, for example getting stabbed in the heart by a giant key!~ It's all a combination of Nomura logic, video game logic, and firetruck physics. Never question it haha
Elijah Gravenhorst 480 Posted April 20, 2013 The only real purpose of a dodge roll in real life is to recover from diving out of the way of something without landing on your face.
