KHBbS Which character do you think had the most positive effect on the KH Universe, in terms of how they tried to stop Xehanort?

Its obviously Ventus in my opinion, since look at the facts:

 

Terra ended up as a vessel for Xehanort due to using the Darkness to fight him in the keyblade graveyard, and thus made things even WORSE, since now Xehanort had achieved his goal of finding a new body.

 

Aqua tried to free Terra from Xehanort's control, but when he fell into the Realm of Darkness and Aqua saved him but got herself trapped in the process, she made it impossible to Save Ventus since she's the only one who could find him, and she saved Xehanort who created Ansem and Xemnas and Org. XIII.

 

Ventus however, caused 2 positive outcomes:

 

His heart slept with Sora, which made the Keyblade see him worthy and take him after Riku turned to the darkness.(Sora however got the power to wield the keyblade by himself when he stated that "My friends are my power!" And now he has his own)

 

And the fact that he DESTROYED THE X-BLADE, and stopped that portion of Xehanort's plan. So he did something useful to stop Xehanort, unlike Aqua and Terra who inevitably made things worse by their Rash Actions.

Xehanort. He's the reason everything is happening. He made Ventus a Keyblade Wielder.. He took Ventus to the Islands, where Sora found Ventus' broken Heart. Then Ventus, who is basically the best.

I'd say Sora in terms of potential. According to Ansem the Wise, Sora is a living, breathing, talking monkey wrench just waiting to screw up Xehanort's plans.

I say Ventus also. However, each played a big roll. Without one's actions things would probably be completely different from how they are in the newer games.

Well, that's a tricky one. The problem is that no one really stopped Xehanort at all. I mean, the most that any of them did is temporarily inconvenience him. Especially since the "big reveal" in DDD is that even the things that Ven did, which looked like they could be construed as heroic the first time, are ultimately cheapened, since Xehanort can just work around the hindrance. 

 

With that in mind, I'm going to go with Mickey. He's been doing most of the long-term heavy lifting and trying to keep on top of Xehanort's plots. Nothing immediate, but perhaps useful in the long run.

I agree with you. It is Ventus. He destroyed Vanitas despite consequences and saved every world from the Keyblade War.

I would have to go with Ventus as well. He sacrificed himself to make sure the X-Blade wasn't formed. That's Xehanort's most evident mission, and he stopped it.

Sora stayed strong through and through. But Riku showed lots of develupment and strength over time, making him even more realistic, in a sense. Also I guess I look up to Riku better cuz he's more calm and mature than Sora is (i'm too childish & overally emotional at times anyways).

 

But anyways I guess its kind of a tie for me. Sora seems like an overall possitive character with a pretty good additude, from what i know about him, anyways. Though, yeah, I guess I do know Riku's story best since I practically stalk him as if I were Xehanort himself lololol (dream drop distence, from what i saw; defenetly sinks in well with just one watch...).

 

 

You expected this post would have to do with Riku. Naturally.
