Axel and Saix are really guardians sworn to protect the worlds and the sanctity of kingdom hearts. The X-shaped scare is a symbol of the X-blade and his dedication to the cause. Duromaxim 0 Posted April 17, 2013 I think that axel knew that Isa had either been brainwashed by Xehanort(or started just following his orders) before he became a nobody and slashed him in the face with both of his Chakrams to create X the scar on his face. Ruran 481 Posted April 17, 2013 Even though the finer details aren't known, as the other posts have stated, it's the recusant sigil and either way the implications are pretty disturbing. It basically marks Saix as Xehanort's property and I think it allows Xehanort to keep track of him at all times. However he got the scar process behind it wouldn't have been very pretty.
