Reyn 1,755 Posted April 17, 2013 I mean, even though they faked that with Goofy in KH2, do you think anyone will actually get killed in battle(Thats a main character and isn't an Antagonist)? Even though this is made by Square, i doubt it'll ever happen. Unless they die of old age and have the story pass on to a new generation.

Ruran 481 Posted April 17, 2013 Disregarding the debatable "death does not truly exist" thing, probably not.

TheFriedPopsicle 36 Posted April 17, 2013 Is permanent death even possible in the KH universe? I can't think of any one character who's died and stayed that way, except for that poor dude in traverse town in kh1 who got his heart eaten by the shadow heartless.... that man was the only man to die in the ENTIRE history of KH! Not even considering that becoming a heartless isn't considered death either. I think it's more like some sort of state of suspension until the heart is freed. Clayton and Sabor were killed dead though.
Dave 5,715 Posted April 17, 2013 I don't believe so, though I doubt it would be so much a call on Disney's part as it would be Nomura's. The man falls in love with his characters almost to a fault, and every time he comes close to doing something permanent to them, he seems obliged to retract it and promise to make things fix themselves. Except that, as per the agreement, Disney technically owns the rights to Sora and the other original characters likenesses, hence why they (mostly Sora) are sometimes put in the Japanese Disney parks to promote new games. waffle 82 Posted April 17, 2013 I thought that axel was done for good, and even though its cool that he came back, Resurrection always makes the story weak especially if its multiple times...... 1 PillowHead reacted to this
PillowHead 569 Posted April 17, 2013 Well, I wouldn't completely mark off death as a possibility, however I would consider a character getting "killed" highly unlikely. My whole thought is, when are they gonna get rid of Eraqus and Yen Sid? Are they just gonna live forever?

Yeah im pretty the guy you are talking about is the one who takes over the accessorie shop when Cid leaves. When it came to the random NPC's in Kingdom Hearts, they didn't use a whole lot of character models. In general, I believe there are about 5 different character models that are used for non-important characters. 2 of them are Wakka and Tidus's models (the 'Tidus' model appears in Traverse Town, and the 'Wakka' model appears in Agrabah, but only after you've defeated Jafar and escaped the Cave of Wonders. If you explore around before leaving, you can find him in a stand near the palace gates.). The other 3 are a very large man, a woman, and the man who gets his heart taken by the Heartless. That man also appears as one or two more people. One stands by the gate from the first district to the third. The other takes over the accessory shop once Cid takes up Gummi-ing again. The woman and the guy who appears multiple times in Traverse Town can also be seen in Agrabah under the same circumstances that you can see the other Wakka model. The woman can be seen where Sora first meets Jasmine, and the man can be seen in a booth near the store house.
