KHBbS Will we ever find out about Ventus's past?

I mean, i don't think the Xehanort reports really covered that. I mean, we don't know where he came from, why he decided to train under MX, or even his age(Although, since he's identical to 15 year old Roxas from KH2 by the time Terra and Aqua take their Mark of Mastery exams, we can assume he's 15 also.

 

I think this might be revealed next saga.

Well that would be interesting to know - also what about Terra and Aqua ? -- Before they joined Eraqus, where were they from ? Whats their back stories?  It would be cool to know this but we might not ever know.

There's a lot of people who's backstories are basically blank: Lea, Terra, Aqua, Eraqus, various Organization members... we're in the dark with info, aren't we?  :mellow:

So I doubt we're gonna get detailed backstories of anyone anytime soon.

His past is sure to involve some unknown character who will have a past of his or her own that we will wonder of that will involve some number other unknown characters who all have pasts of their own that involve even more unknown characters and so on. Isn't that how history works? And Sora's past was in the story of Ven. You can only go so far back, and I think this hole might best be left to be filled by our imagination.

I suppose that would be interesting, knowing where Ventus and the others are from aand their stories, but it seems kinda difficult... They barely mention it in BbS, not seeming to care much, and it's kinda hard to give a reason to start speaking about it. What, suddenly Terra starts a flashback "where I was born... At that time... there was Light..." and tells all about him? It would be cool, but doesn't seem like Nomura (I mean, he doesn't help us much)

It would be interesting to know but overall it's probably not important so most likely it'll never be revealed. At most I can see them going as far back as to when Xehanort and Ven first met or give us a few more fleshed out details but over all it's not really important.

We don't know his favorite color, either, but I think we'll live.  If it's not significant to the story then there isn't really a need to include it.  If Nomura did think of a way for his back story to be significant to the plot, then I can guarantee you it would make things more complicated than it needs to be.

Their past isnt really that important, plus Ven's past could have easily been explained in Xehanorts reports like how we found out his. I just want to know how old Terra, Ven, Aqua are. I know Aqua isnt jailbait though. lol

The reports imply that he was just a random kid xehanort found and xehanort saw that he had potential so he decided to make ventus his vessel

I want to know but I don't think we'll ever know. At least not within the game....

 

Nomura always liked fans figuring out and imagining for themselves....that's how it was with Cloud in KH series too, he barely told us anything just because he wanted us to imagine it the way we wanted.

 

So I don't think KH3 will ever explain their stories. I mean, KH3 have to be focusing on the war/ what will happen in the future, not their pasts!

Oh well, I guess I'd have to be satisfied with novel. I know Nomura looked over the novel to make sure this goes in the right direction, so novels are canon.

 

And the novel had the trio's normal life story with master Eraqus T^T

That was satisfying..............although it still doesn't tell us anything about their past/backstories.

 

At least I know from the novel that

 

1.) Ventus is an orphan

2.) Aqua looooves cake baking

3.) Terra's hobby is to make something out of wood(usually he makes keyblades out of wood)

4.) Master Eraqus loves strawberry LOL

 

OMG........master Eraqus was just so cute T^T 

Terra doesn't like sweet things but Aqua and Master Eraqus loves sweet things And Aqua kept baking cakes and cookies And Terra's like "......this thing is so sweet -_-;;;" Aqua's like "don't worry, Terra, I baked unsweetened version of cake just for you" and Master Eraqus's like "just shut up and eat, why are you so picky?" And Terra's like "uh, am I the only man in this household who's not good with sweet?! I'm not picky!!" XDDD (Ven's just kinda staring off into distance and follows around Aqua since he was still recovering so he eats whatever Aqua feeds him which is mostly sweet stuff )

 

I loved that moment when Master Eraqus was like "alright, we are taking a break" and then turns to Aqua and be like "What do we have for snack today, Aqua? +_+" And Aqua was like "Your favorite! Strawberry Tart!" And Master Eraqus was so overjoyed

 

and I just could feel how much Master Eraqus, Terra and Aqua loved Ventus T^T All those little moments were just so touching T^T

Kinda leaves more up to the imagination, eh? Maybe they were all just normal kids who had an ambition. Young kids, at least in real life....tyyyyypically don't lead all that interesting lives anyways. Maybe they wanted to make Terra, Aqua, and Ventus sort of...relatable? Or something? By not having them have an overly far-fetched backstory. So you, or I, could be keyblade wielders or something. But yeah, lol.
